We found out Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn hooked up with world-famous DJ Steve Aoki, and they’re still friends to this day.
From partying with rapper Snoop Dogg in 2014 to rubbing shoulders with former Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop and I’m A Celebrity’s Miguel Maestre, it’s safe to say Lauren’s got friends in high places.
And as revealed in episode 373 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the fan-fave bride once hooked up with the international hitmaker “for clout”!
“OMG I can’t believe you found out about this,” one of Lauren’s friends told So Dramatic!.
“Yes, she did hook up with him when she was about 18, and it was definitely for clout, LOL. But let’s be honest, who wouldn’t?” And fair point!

According to Lauren’s pal, the outgoing bride has known Steve “for ages”.
“She was young when they hooked up. It was just a bit of fun,” they explained. “[Lauren and Steve] have stayed pretty good friends since.”
“They hang out every time he’s in Perth or Bali or she’s in America. He also flew her to Bali for his show one time.”
Maybe Steve was her original “secret Bali boyfriend“?
In pics obtained by So Dramatic! Lauren can be seen enjoying a Bali trip with Steve during her younger years. Snaps show the pair hanging out and swimming in Bali, and it looks like they’re having the time of their lives!
Another pic shows them eating the mouthwatering Bali street corn that we dream about every night.
The marketing and PR consultant also posted an Instagram recap of her time with Steve in Bali in 2022.
“Few weeks ago, flew to Bali to catch up with me old mate @steveaoki after not seeing each other for nearly ten years, she wrote in the captions.
“For someone completely sober, he sure knows how to turn it on for a crowd. Luckily, I was there to drink all the champagne and throw out some seriously questionable chat,” she joked.
“I’m your favourite groupies, favourite groupie.” And add it to the list of reasons we LOVE Lauren!
