Even though last season seemingly ended yesterday, a crop of Married at First Sight Australia 2026 participants have already been leaked, and we’ve spotted some firecrackers!
Speaking to Sky News, production insiders have confirmed that the show is steering away from “influencer types” and casting more “everyday Australians” who are in it for love, not just a blue tick (yep, those people still exist).
“There’s a lot less slicked-back hair and neck tattoos and a lot more relatability,” one casting source dished. “This cast feels real, and that’s a big part of what we’re aiming for in 2026.”
But that’s not the only casting change! Next season’s hopefuls were put through “tough new vetting rules” where “even a whiff of controversy” could get them cut.
So who’s bold (or unhinged) enough to risk being paired with a walking red flag on national TV? Keep scrolling to uncover the leaked cast of Married at First Sight 2026!
Joel Moses — Intruder
MAFS 2026 intruder groom Joel Moses is a Sydney-born model, drummer and entertainer who calls himself “over the top” and “too much for some.”
The 31-year-old is also a self-confessed mummy’s boy. His mum told an outlet he still asks for back scratches and, until recently, was “married to his teddy bear.”
Signed to KHOO Management and Wink Models, Joel has made a name for himself in modelling and entertainment.
His StarNow profile dubs him “larger than life” with “natural charisma” and a “passion for the spotlight.” But friends say that’s putting it mildly!
“He’s out of control and completely unpredictable, which seems to be the perfect mix for MAFS these days,” one pal quipped.
And he doesn’t hide it on-screen either! Joel reportedly made sure everyone at his wedding knew he was a model, leaving his bride and guests in no doubt about his flair for theatrics.
Juliette Chae — Intruder
Paired with Joel, Melbourne-based creative Juliette Chae is set to bring charm and brains to MAFS 2026.
According to reports, Juliette directs short films and is incredibly close to her family.
“She’s classy, clever and connected to her roots,” one production insider told an outlet.
“But don’t be fooled. She’s got a spark that producers are banking on when Joel starts showing his over-the-top side. Together, they’re going to deliver fireworks.”
Sam Stanton — Intruder
Adelaide-based intruder groom Sam Stanton is represented by Finesse Models and has appeared in campaigns for Knobby Underwear, Mazzuchelli’s, and SA Life Magazine, per his modelling bio.
He’s also the co-founder and head coach at Studio 360 Sports, and according to his now-private Instagram bio, is an ambassador for Lululemon and protein brand Happy Way.
Sam is paired with Chris Robinson as part of this season’s first same-sex couple, and with their shared love of fitness, could they be a match made in heaven on MAFS 2026?
Chris Robinson — Intruder
One of the first leaked intruders is Chris Robinson, a personal trainer from Sydney.
According to his LinkedIn, Chris has been running his boutique fitness business, Body Skin Soul, since 2011. Per his Instagram bio, he’s also a farmer on the NSW south coast.
When he’s not in the gym (or on the farm), he’s managing his luxe Airbnb, Wave & Willow Retreat in Jamberoo. The listing describes it as a sprawling property that sleeps up to 13 guests across five bedrooms, with a mineral pool and a huge entertainer’s deck overlooking the mountains. Basically, it’s influencer getaway goals.
Chris will be tying the knot with fellow intruder Sam, and we can’t wait to watch their journey unfold!
Aiste ‘Stella’ Mickunaite
Eyelash and brow specialist Aiste ‘Stella’ Mickunainte is already stirring the pot, and we’re living for the tea!
Stella’s friends describe her as a “good soul” with a “rebel side,” and it looks like both are about to be tested.
According to an outlet, the bride-to-be “blindsided” her co-star Brook Crompton during filming.
“Stella told Brook that she came across as cold and fake, right there in front of everyone,” one witness dished. “You could’ve heard a pin drop.” Eep!
For Brook, the ambush hit hard.
“She didn’t clap back in the moment, but everyone could see her jaw clench,” the source added. “She waited until the next Dinner Party and then unleashed.”
According to production insiders, Brook confronted Stella head-on, labelling her comments “toxic” and accusing her of stirring the pot.
“She’s not here to settle for less, not in love and not in friendship,” another insider spilled. “Viewers will see a bride who stands tall, even when the knives are out.”
Production insiders have also revealed that the feud between the two brides could become one of the season’s most “talked-about storylines.”
Rachel Gilmore
Recruitment consultant Rachel Gilmore is set to join the MAFS 2026 cast.
Based in Melbourne, Rachel is described on her Haylo People workplace profile as having a warm personality and a genuine care for people, with colleagues praising her ability to connect with others and find the perfect fit both personally and professionally.
Little else is known about Rachel, and judging by this, we’re expecting her to be one of the more drama-free brides this season!
David Momoh
From rapper to entrepreneur, David Momoh is always five steps ahead.
According to his LinkedIn, he’s the founder of digital agency Attah Digital and also works as an E-commerce Product Manager.
Friends call him a “big-picture guy,” and producers reckon he’s this season’s dark horse, stating that he “may not be the loudest groom in the room”, but he just might be the most clued in.
His Instagram Linktree also reveals he’s a fitness coach and the host of a YouTube dating show called Pop Or Fall For Love. Is there a hat he doesn’t wear?!
Filip Gregov
Motivational speaker and content creator Filip Gregov is stepping into the MAFS experiment with a self-help mindset and big ideas about love.
According to his Instagram bio, he’s an “optimist” and “educational content creator”, and he’s already got a blue tick.
His Linktree leads to a YouTube channel filled with motivational speaking clips, plus a “fitness, health and online dating” blueprint.
Friends say he’s “deep, spiritual and always searching for meaning,” so expect his journey to be more about connection than chaos… unless his bride isn’t quite on the same wavelength.
Luke Fourniotis
Melbourne-based farmer Luke Fourniotis is a laid-back, dog-loving country boy with a big heart and a bigger online following.
Between working out in the paddocks and filming funny, wholesome TikToks with his dog Mika, Luke’s carved out a niche as the “relatable” bloke next door.
Friends say he’s “salt of the earth” and “a genuine, wholesome bloke” who’s kind, grounded and always cracking a joke.
He’s close with his two sisters, who’ve been cheering him on in the search for something real. And we have a feeling he’s gonna be a fan-fave!
Grayson McIver
Gold Coast recruitment agency owner Grayson McIver is confident, charming and always dressed like he’s walking a runway, not a wedding aisle.
Friends say he’s a luxury lover who’s “just as comfortable in a boardroom as he is at a Sunday session” and genuinely supportive once you’re in his inner circle.
Insiders reckon there’s more to him than his tailored suits, hinting that his smooth exterior could be hiding a deeper emotional side.
Chris Nield
AFL player Chris Nield has the discipline of an elite athlete and the loyalty of a golden retriever.
Friends say he’s “loyal and down-to-earth,” and while producers are tipping him as this season’s “strong and dependable” groom, some wonder if that might make him a bit of a slow burn.
Melissa Akbay
Melissa Akbay is effortlessly cool, with a curated Insta feed full of fashion, wellness and spontaneous getaways to prove it.
The Canberra-based bride is a free spirit who lives for adventure but keeps her circle tight.
“She’s super loyal,” a friend shared, “but if you cross her, you’ll know about it.”
With her no-BS attitude and dreamy aesthetic, Melissa’s set to bring major main character energy to MAFS 2026.
Brook Crompton
Brook Crompton isn’t just a part-time model and corporate girly, she’s a social butterfly with a fiercely loyal streak.
“When it comes to her friends, she’s ride or die,” one friend spilled. “She’s the life of the party but always has your back.”
By day, Brook works as a talent acquisition specialist, but after hours, she’s serving lewks to her 5,000+ Insta followers.
With brains, beauty and serious main character energy, she’s bound to make waves in the MAFS experiment.
Julia Vogl
Julia Vogl isn’t your average MAFS bride. The former journalist and celebrity interviewer has brushed shoulders with the likes of Cher, Kate Winslet and Matthew McConaughey, but now she’s turning the spotlight on her own love life.
These days, Julia works as a confidence coach based in Melbourne with her own biz, Talk is Cheap, helping people reclaim their self-worth through speaking gigs and online programs.
Insiders describe her as magnetic and articulate, and say she’s got a knack for making people spill their secrets without even realising it.
With a bold career pivot, A-list connections and a gift of the gab, Julia’s already tipped to be one of the season’s breakout stars.
Alissa Fay
Nurse and influencer Alissa Fay is joining MAFS 2026, and she’s no stranger to the spotlight.
With over 270,000 TikTok followers, Alissa knows how to make an impression, and her warm, bubbly energy is set to bring some much-needed wholesomeness to our screens.
She recently split from her long-term bae, Will Giles, with her last post of them together in Paris last August.
Friends describe her as “fiery but lovable” and “someone who doesn’t back down from a challenge”, and she’s already being tipped as one of the season’s breakout stars.
According to one insider, Alissa is genuinely hoping to find love on MAFS, but she’s “not the type to put up with nonsense just to stay in the experiment”. Yaas queen!
Steve Powell
Adventure-loving Steve Powell is the laid-back outdoorsman everyone wants around.
With a history in hands-on work, he’s happiest when he’s moving, whether that’s hiking, camping, or chasing his next thrill.
Known for his cheeky sense of humour and chill vibe, Steve’s the guy who’s mates with just about everyone.
According to his Instagram bio, he is a creative director in the hospitality industry.
But sources close to him wonder if he’s ready for the MAFS pressure cooker and all the drama that comes with it.
Daniel Hewitt
Daniel Hewitt is another groom set to appear on the upcoming season of MAFS, bringing his millionaire status and confident energy to the experiment.
The Melbourne-based real estate agent has achieved $9.6 million in property sales over the past year, including a $2.8 million seven-bedroom home in Chadstone that went under the hammer in June.
Property records show Daniel sold 12 homes in 12 months, a mix of houses and apartments, with an average sale price of $1.1 million and a turnaround time of just 48 days on the market. So it’s clear he’s a high achiever!
Friends describe him as “fun, confident, and the life of the party”.
“Daniel’s got this real swagger about him,” one of his mates said. “He’s confident, sharp, and always up for a good time. He’s definitely not the shy type.”
“He rolls with a pretty glam Melbourne crowd, too. Lots of influencers, creatives, that sort of scene.”
Daniel has already made an impression on set, with his style and smooth-talking personality catching attention early on.
“Let’s just say he knows how to work a room,” a production insider revealed. “He’s not afraid of the spotlight, and that’s exactly what we want.”
According to an outlet, male entertainer Will Parfitt, known as Australia’s answer to Magic Mike (and a dead ringer for Channing Tatum), will be part of Daniel’s wedding party.
“Will and Daniel have known each other for years,” one insider explained. “They’re tight, and it made sense to include him in the wedding. He definitely brought energy to the set.”
Ankita Karungalekar
Popular sports presenter Ankita Karungalekar is set to join the MAFS 2026 cast, with the bride-to-be spotted filming her wedding.
Ankita donned a gorgeous traditional Indian sequin lehenga as she tied the knot with groom Micah Lomu.
The well-known TV personality currently works with Cricket Australia and has covered major events, including the Men’s Test Match and Women’s ODI Cup.
She also has a background in pageants, having been crowned Miss India Australia Runner-Up in 2019 and named a Miss World Australia State Finalist for Victoria in 2020.
Micah Lomu
Sydney fitness guru Micah Lomu, aka ‘Meekz’, is equal parts mortgage broker and hype king.
He co-founded the Surpass Your Limitz movement, but it’s his energy and competitive streak that really steal the show.
Friends can’t get enough of him, calling him the first to hit the dance floor and the one with the “loudest laugh in the room”.
Rebecca ‘Bec’ Zacharia
Adelaide’s social scene wouldn’t be the same without Rebecca ‘Bec’ Zacharia, a name that’s been a staple in the city’s gossip columns for years.
As a Wilderness School graduate from a prominent family (her dad Lee was once Cleo’s Most Eligible Bachelor back in the 80s), Bec’s no stranger to the spotlight.
After making waves in London’s real estate game, she returned to Adelaide to reconnect with her roots and family.
Known for popping up on ‘Singles Ready to Mingle’ lists more than once, Bec also throws some of the city’s most decadent dinner parties (which are much more boujee than the MAFS‘ ones).
“She’s got the right contacts, the looks, and a wit that cuts through the noise,” a source close to Bec told an outlet.
The bio for her now-private Instagram account reads: “committed to being a full-time legend”, and it sounds like she’s a good time!
Scott McCristal
MAFS isn’t newbie groom Scott McCristal‘s first reality TV rodeo, as he’s appeared on Million Dollar Island, Blind Date and Holey Moley, so he knows how to work the cameras!
In a 2018 interview with The Courier Mail, Scott confessed that he wants to be “famous”.
“I want fame,” he admitted. “My dream goal is to do TV and movies. It’s the most fun thing to do. Tradie work, I walk in and think ‘this is not for me’.”
During his stint on Holey Moley, Scott even flirted with host Sonia Kruger. After Sonia commented that “women were flirting with [him] in the gallery,” Scott smugly replied, “That’s standard. I get that all the time. Including yourself, I think.” Eep!
Alongside his TV stints, the tradie-turned-entrepreneur boasts a pretty impressive resume, running three businesses: Jetski United, A Lend Finance, and McCristal Motors.
“He’s a hustler, no doubt,” one source said. “Scott’s got the gift of the gab, and he walks into every room like he owns it. He’s confident, cheeky, and knows exactly what he brings to the table.”
Scott will be paired with “wild” bride-to-be, Gia Fleur, and producers have predicted that these two will be fiery AF!
“Neither of them is here to play it safe,” one insider said. “You’ve got two big characters who both like to be in control – so expect chaos, tears, passion and plenty of headline-making moments.’
“They’re both huge personalities,” another production insider spilled. “It’s explosive. There are blow-ups, big emotions and some serious chemistry. Viewers are either going to love them or hate them, but no one will be able to look away.”
Gia Fleur
Gia has already been dubbed the “wildest bride in MAFS history”, and it sounds like she’s gonna be iconic!
Insiders say the Melbourne-based bride-to-be “doesn’t give a single f*ck what anyone thinks”.
“She’s bold, she’s brash, and she says whatever’s on her mind, which makes for absolutely iconic TV,” one source told an outlet.
Whilst she may be a wild card, she still has a heart of gold.
“She’s wild, sure, but she’s also incredibly caring and protective of the people she loves,” one of her friends said. “She’s been through a lot, and she’s unapologetically herself now.”
Another friend called her a “modern power woman”.
“She’s outspoken, confident, and not afraid to call people out on their BS. But she’s also super fun and brings this amazing energy everywhere she goes,” they added.
Gia also used to live in LA, where she rubbed shoulders with plenty of A-listers.
Photos obtained by an outlet show her inside the Playboy Mansion, posing alongside Hugh Hefner.
She also appeared in music videos for French Montana and Nicki Minaj’s Freaks and Gillespie’s Take Me Back.
Insiders say her LA days were packed with red carpet events and “very wild” parties. And she better be bringing this energy to MAFS!
Rebecca Zukowski
Leasing Manager Rebecca Zukowski is a powerhouse with 20 years of experience in hospitality, tourism and real estate, and she’s wasting no time shaking things up on MAFS 2026!
“She’s wild,” one production insider told an outlet. “Think Jamie Marinos but with years more experience. She was overheard yelling on her balcony between takes. It was a whole moment.”
Another insider called her a “no-nonsense kind of woman.”
“She says what everyone else is too scared to say,” they said. “She’s got this larger-than-life energy and a loyal heart. She’ll back you 100 per cent, but don’t cross her because she’ll call it out without blinking.”
Rebecca has already stirred the pot, reportedly accusing her bridesmaid of trying to upstage her on her wedding day.
“She’s going to make incredible television,” another source teased.
If her wedding day antics are anything to go by, we can’t wait to see what she brings to the first Dinner Party!
