Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Michael Brunelli and Martha Kalifatidis have announced they’re starting a new show in the form of a video podcast with an iconic co-star!
The fan-fave couple have become well-known for their hilarious TikTok videos with Martha’s mum, Mary (who also appeared on Big Brother back in 2021).
On August 23, the duo took to Instagram to reveal that they’re starting a vodcast (that’s a video podcast for those playing at home) called The Morning Roast, with none other than Queen Mary!
Michael and Martha posted a teaser of their new series, which featured a photo shoot with Mary and snippets of their funniest moments, overlaid with Mary’s witty one-liners.
“Watch this space,” they wrote in the caption. And we’ll be watching with eager eyes!
What else do we know about The Morning Roast?
On the show’s official Instagram page, the trio spilled the deets on their new project in an archived Live captioned: “A look at how we operate… or don’t operate.”
According to the hosts, The Morning Roast will be a vodcast on YouTube that runs for eight to 12 minutes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.
Martha told the viewers that each episode will feature a “discussion” that the three hosts will “unpack”.
“It’s just going to be us unpacking and discussing. But we’ve called it the roast because all we do in this family is roast each other. And it’s obviously about coffee because we’re addicted to coffee in this family,” she explained.
Martha also claimed there would be “no editing whatsoever” and that the show would just feature raw conversation.
