Love Island Australia has announced that they’re looking for a new batch of Superfans to take control of the villa during the 2024 season.
Much like the last few years, the dating show is searching for audience members who want to satisfy their God complex and control what goes down on the pre-recorded show.
On July 5, Love Island Australia’s official Instagram page shared a post recruiting a group of reality TV nuts.
“Are you our next Love Island Australia Superfan? Take control of the Villa and the fate of our Islanders! APPLY NOW,” the post read.
And we’ve never filled out a form faster!
What are Love Island Superfans?
Superfans are a small selection of the audience who’ll have the power to make some very important decisions on Love Island.
Allegedly, this group of fans will be given access to a live feed in the Villa, allowing them to participate in audience voting since the show isn’t live.
From matching up couples to deciding who stays in the Villa, these die-hard Love Island fans will LITERALLY be able to change the Islanders’ journeys. Pretty cool right?
Many viewers have questioned whether the Superfans are fake, as people believed they were actually the producers.
However, it seems this isn’t the case!

How to become a Love Island Australia Superfan
If you want to become part of the “exclusive and impactful” team of Superfans, all you need to do is fill out a form.
Potential applicants will be asked a series of questions to determine whether they’d classify as a ride-or-die Love Island fan.
To complete the application process, you must list your favourite Islanders as well as the reasons you LOVE Love Island. You also have to describe why you’d make a good Islander.
