I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia host Robert Irwin has revealed he’s already back behind the camera for another exciting reality TV gig.

The 20-year-old wildlife warrior quickly won fans over when he replaced Dr Chris Brown as Julia Morris‘ co-host on the jungle series this year.

His work on I’m a Celebrity has since awarded him a Gold Logie nomination for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. However, he’s already got his sights on his next reality TV stint.

Taking to Instagram on June 20, the son of crocodile hunter Steve Irwin revealed to fans that he’s currently in the throws of filming his next project.

In a video, Robert appeared to wake up in his bed while wearing his famous Australia Zoo khaki uniform.

“Do you ever get that strange feeling when you wake up that you’re being watched?” he mused.

A boom microphone then appeared in the frame before Robert flipped the camera to reveal five people standing over him, including a cameraman and lighting technician.

“Oh, hey, guys,” he said before being shushed by the cameraman.

Fans weigh in on what I’m a Celebrity host Robert Irwin’s new reality TV gig is

The Instagram clip was captioned: “Tell me you do reality TV without telling me. And yes… I sleep in my khakis.”

And you do you, Robert!

With the video raking in over 777,000 views, it’s no surprise that a large handful of his fans weighed in on what he’s working on. Many suspect he’s filming the fifth season of Crikey! It’s the Irwins.

“A new season of Crikey It’s the Irwins? Finally!” one person wondered. Meanwhile, another asked whether the video “mean[s] more episodes are coming!?”.

“Bring back Crikey! It’s the Irwins, please,” a third penned.

“Ahhh, yes the only reality TV I’m willing to waste my life on.”

The series, which documents Robert, his sister Bindi and mum Terri‘s efforts at Australia Zoo, aired on Animal Planet from 2018 to 2022.

However, there’s no word on whether a new season is in production.

The news that Robert is filming another project comes after rumours that he wouldn’t return to I’m a Celebrity in 2025 were debunked.
