Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Natalie Parham has clarified details about her new relationship with a woman after teasing that she was “speaking to someone special”.
Natalie previously told 9Entertainment that she’d found a spark with a woman she’d “known for years”, explaining that this was her first same-sex romance.
“Even if it eventuates into a nice friendship, we’re going to see what happens,” she spilled.
However, the former TV bride has since revealed that this romance turned into a friendship, leaving her “single and ready to mingle”.
“After the Reunion, I rekindled my friendship with someone very special in my life who I was attracted to and interested in, and getting to know her again opened my heart back into the dating world,” Natalie told Nine.
The 32-year-old revealed that the pair remain “very close friends”.
“I did have these feelings, but when I went and saw her, and we spent a bit of time together, it really was more of that friendship,” she explained.
“I couldn’t see us taking that next step. We didn’t end up dating; it was just reconnecting in life. She’s a fantastic person in my life and is helping support me in getting back out into the dating world.”

Natalie then explained that she “loves people for who they are”.
“It opened my eyes to the fact that I see people for who they are on the inside. That’s what attracts me. It’s not gender or identity; I’m attracted to who someone is,” she said.
“Whether that’s a man, a woman or non-binary, that doesn’t matter. As long as they’re a really good person and they love me for who I am,” she explained.
The physiotherapist then confirmed that she’s been “mingling” as she’s open to “looking for love”.
However, she hasn’t been on “any dates yet”, and especially not with her co-stars!
She explained, “I’m not dating any of the other cast members. There are no plans to date any cast members, thank you very much!” And case closed!
