Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Natalie Parham has unveiled an unaired moment between her and Collins Christian before they left the experiment.

ICYMI: Things between the mismatched couple went from bad to worse after the first Commitment Ceremony when Natalie wrote “leave” and Collins wrote “stay”, meaning they had to remain on the show for at least another week.

A day later, Natalie said their lack of connection was a sticking point and opted to quit the experiment for good.

Natalie wrote Collins a letter before leaving Married at First Sight

After the February 12 episode, the TV bride told Yahoo! Lifestyle there was one major moment from their dramatic exit that was left on the cutting room floor.

Intent on “stand[ing] her ground”, Natalie wrote Collins a letter laying it all on the line.

“I wrote him a letter so he couldn’t use my grief against me. I said, ‘I wrote this letter with my mum and sister and after I’d spoken to a psychologist. So I was in my best frame of mind when I wrote this letter, and it still applies right now’,” she explained.

“It was essentially what I said when I chatted to Collins before I left. Pretty much what I said that day was in the letter. I gave it to him, and I was like, ‘Here, reflect’.”

What happened when Collins Christian read Natalie Parham’s letter?

Natalie told the outlet that after Collins read her letter, they “kept going around in circles” about their relationship’s future.

“That’s why I was like, ‘I’m done, there’s no connection here, I can’t make a connection with you, and I never will. You need to leave and walk out that door right now’,” she detailed.

“I gave him a good old pat on the back and shut the door.”

Natalie continued: “I woke up with absolute certainty that I was going home that day and there was nothing anyone could say that could change my mind. I was going home; there was no connection, and I just needed to call it out.”

Natalie’s reveal comes after a source alleged that the duo were “removed” from Married at First Sight by producers to protect their mental health.
