An influencer manager has spilled the beans on which Married at First Sight Australia 2024 stars are set to make the most money on social media.

On March 19, Yahoo! Lifestyle reported that the current brides and grooms are “furious” they won’t make it as influencers, with many struggling to make enough money after “giving up their day jobs during filming”.

However, PR and Talent expert Jai Evans told Pedestrian.TV that this was far from the truth, listing the 2024 stars who have the potential to make it big as influencers.

According to Jai, fan-favourite Lucinda Light, who has 242,000 Instagram followers at the time of writing, has the most “commercial appeal and value post-show out of all of the MAFS cast this season”.

And if she’s well managed, she has the potential to be a “mainstay in the media sector”. Woohoo!

Jai also reckons the self-proclaimed “earth mama” is very diverse and could partner with ALL types of businesses in the food, travel, fashion, beauty and adult sectors, to name a few.

“She’d be great in driving messaging well around ‘touchy’ or taboo topics in a mature, yet playful way,” Jai asserted. And we love to hear it!

Which other Married at First Sight 2024 stars have the potential to make it big on social media?

Jai also thinks outgoing bride Lauren Dunn, who has 103,000 followers on the ‘gram, will be a HUGE success on social media. And we’re not surprised, because she’s a PR and marketing consultant after all!

“Lauren will do well in the influencer space as she is quirky, fun and would be able to deliver upon professional brand partnerships due to her PR skillset,” Jai told the outlet.

Jade Pywell, who has 52,800 followers, also has what it takes to succeed.

“Jade appeals to the large viewer base of families as a single mother,” Jai dished. “She’s sweet, playful and could wear brands well, and will appeal to a range of Australia’s multi-cultural demographic.”

Also tipped to do well as an influencer is Cassandra Allen, who has experience as a content creator and 72,000 followers, as well as Andrea Thompson, who’ll do well with an older audience and has already amassed 64,000 fans.

Meanwhile, Jayden Eynaud is said to do well amongst the grooms due to his “sporting and lifestyle appeal”.

He’s also got a hefty 62,800 followers, which is the most out of the male cast members so far.

Not far behind is icon Timothy Smith, who boasts 47,100 fans on the ‘gram.

“Men generally find it harder than women for commercial success in the world of socials post-reality,” Jai spilled.

“Brands tend to spend more on female talent for brand partnerships.”

MAFS stars’ post-show success depends on their behaviour on-screen

Jai also explained that it isn’t just about followers because the brides’ and grooms’ behaviour on-screen would also play a huge role in their post-show success.

And Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley, we’re looking at you!

“Talent success is dependent on how well they lead with their heart and not their head. If they are too ego-driven people disengage, hence why Lucinda has been a roaring success,” Jai said.

As for maintaining success, this comes down to being “true to yourself” and “authentic”, an idea that’s foreign to half of this year’s cast.

In saying that, we’re excited to see who shines!
