Channel 10 has unveiled the start date for MasterChef Australia 2024, and this season looks delicious!
Former winner Andy Allen is returning for his fifth season as a judge alongside inaugural season runner-up Poh Ling Yeow, critic and journalist Sofia Levin and Michelin Star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
The new judging panel comes after Melissa Leong stepped away from the series following Jock Zonfrillo‘s death.
In an upbeat trailer for the latest MasterChef instalment, fans were promised that “there’s never been a season like this”.
“Around the globe, when people speak of great cooking shows, they speak of MasterChef Australia,” Jean-Christophe said. “And to be part of this is both surreal and humbling.”
Poh confessed that the show “absolutely changed [her] life”, while Sofia said it’s “a sheer delight and privilege” to join the MasterChef family and “community of food lovers”.
When does MasterChef Australia 2024 start?
Per the trailer, MasterChef Australia 2024 will kick off on Channel 10 and 10Play on Monday, April 22.
The premiere date announcement comes after it was revealed the hit cooking show will travel to Hong Kong for three episodes. Yum!
