Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Ben Walters has joined the long list of contestants who dumped their partners to appear on the show.
ICYMI: Ben recently revealed that he and his new girlfriend, Aileen, have moved in together after meeting in a cafe once filming had wrapped.
“Mate, love her to bits, and she’s moved in,” he told Daily Mail Australia in February.

However, calling Ben’s bae “new” might be misleading after several people dished that he was actually seeing Aileen before the show.
As reported in episode 361 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the travel guide spilled this tea to another groom.
One insider said, “Ben told another groom on the show that he was dating his current girlfriend before the show.”
“He was seeing her, then the show called, and he went on, and now he’s back with her.”
They added: “So I’m not sure why he’s getting so upset about Ellie [Dix] dumping someone for the show or cheating on him with Jonathan [McCullough] and walking around acting like a victim.”

Ben’s Married at First Sight wife, Ellie, also made similar claims about Ben and Aileen’s relationship.
In a since-deleted, shady AF comment left on a photo of the couple on Ben’s Facebook page, Ellie said she heard the tea from Timothy Smith.

“I actually heard from Timothy you were seeing Aileen before you went on MAFS,” she penned. “You told him at lunch when you were in Melbourne.
“Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.” OOFT.
However, Ellie also dumped her bae for the show. As did Jack Dunkley. So, we guess they’re all in good company?
