In his Married at First Sight Australia 2024 audition tape, Collins Christian revealed that he once fled the country after being friend-zoned.
Despite never being in a relationship before, the executive assistant, who’s coupled up with Natalie Parham in the marriage experiment, admitted that he’d been in love once.
However, after confessing his feelings in a “horrible way”, he was friend-zoned by the mystery lady.

“I had to leave the country,” he said in his audition tape. “It sucked! I went to the United States for six weeks to get away.”
The 28-year-old also confessed that he “does OK” when it comes to “picking up” women.
“I don’t want to be all cocky,” he beamed. “But give me five minutes and I reckon… I’m pretty quick at sussing out whether they’re interested or not.”
However, he later admitted that he’d only gotten around “two likes” on the dating apps, so we’re taking that one with a grain of salt.

The groom also admitted that he’s quite selective when it comes to women, finding it hard to look past appearances.
“I’ve been learning that maybe I am a bit too picky,” he said. “If I’m not physically attracted to them, I shut off the door to potential relationships and I’m well aware that’s not good.”
The reality star then compared women to cars in an analogy that screamed red flag.
“I could like everything about the car. It drives well, it’s amazing, it looks good on the inside. But if I wasn’t the biggest fan of the exterior, would I still drive the car? I don’t know,” he confessed.
He then revealed that his usual type is “your stereotypical blonde with blue eyes and a divine nose”, citing actress Blake Lively as an example. And it sounds like this man has some serious maturing to do!
This comes after footage of Collins auditioning for the previous season of MAFS was leaked.
