Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Natalie Parham is set to bring a “breath of fresh air” to the show and we sure need it after all the drama that’s rumoured to go down this season!
Unlike some of the fame-seekers that have graced MAFS in the past, the Melbourne-based physio has been described as “funny and down to earth”.
“She’s a super warm and lovely person,” friends of Natalie’s told So Dramatic!. “She’s very friendly and outgoing and doesn’t take things or herself too seriously.”

They added: “She’s unlike your typical MAFS contestant and will be like a breath of fresh air to the show.
“She’s kind of an awkward person, super dorky and a bit of a nerd but very self-deprecating. She will bring humour to the experiment that’s for sure. But she’s definitely not a drama person.” And we LOVE the sound of her!
The 32-year-old also owns an adorable Samoyed dog called MieMie, who even has their own Instagram account!
Why did Natalie Parham sign up for Married at First Sight 2024?
A source close to Natalie revealed that the opportunity to join the marriage experiment presented itself at an interesting time.
“Nat isn’t fame hungry at all,” they told So Dramatic!. “She couldn’t care less about followers or a blue tick, she just wanted to shake up her life because she was in a bit of a rutt.”
The insider explained that Natalie didn’t hear back from the producers for a while, before her dad sadly passed away.
“The timing couldn’t have been more bizarre, but the producers called her back literally the day after his funeral saying they would love to meet her.
“She couldn’t believe it. It felt like divine intervention almost.”
They added: “She sat down with her family and they encouraged her to do it. They know how desperate she is to find her person and settle down.
“All of her siblings have partners and she’s the only one left. So she signed on the dotted line. She thought she had nothing to lose at that point.”
Sources close to Natalie express fears that Married at First Sight will ‘tear her to shreds’
In one of the trailers, Natalie is shown taking a few stumbles before walking down the aisle. Sources dished that the production crew was forced to step in and carry her to the altar.
One of the bride’s clients told So Dramatic that Natalie is “SO friendly and lovely”. However, they were “worried” the show would “tear her to shreds”, especially after her clumsy edit in the trailer.
“She’s truly the most lovely girl and … they’ve already made her look like an idiot in the ad,” they said.
What else do we know about Married at First Sight 2024‘s Natalie Parham?
In her introductory trailer, Natalie admits that she’s “quite different to a lot of girls”.
“I’m definitely not a bronzed babe,” she tells the cameras. “My teeth are too big, I smile too gummy, I’ve got wrinkles on the side of my eyes.”
“I’ve got so much more love to give I feel like I’m about to break out into song!” And she seems wholesome AF!
According to her bio, Natalie is a little bit “nerdy”. Not only does she love gaming and cosplay but the 5’1″ pocket rocket also has a collection of memorabilia dedicated to her dog.
As a big family person, the reality star is looking for someone who’ll last the distance. She’s looking for her “Player 2” in the game of life and we hope producers have found her a perfect match!
