It’s been alleged that Married at First Sight 2024 will have not one, but six “villains” and somebody’s been busy!

The 11th season of the marriage experiment is set to be a doozy, with cheating scandals, never-before-seen beef and “absolutely abhorrent” behaviour.

Now, Married at First Sight 2023 bride Melinda Willis has dished that she “know[s] that this season is going to take it to the next level”.

“I’m so excited, I’ve got my popcorn ready!” Melinda told the Hit Network’s The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G.

She then dished that MAFS 2024 is set to take the villain game up a notch.

“I have heard on the grapevine that this year there’s not one or two villains, there’s six of them!” YIKES.

This tea comes after former MAFS “villains” slammed executive producer Tara McWilliams for claiming the “villain edit” doesn’t exist, only participants’ bad behaviour.

Melinda Willis addresses Married at First Sight contracts

A MAFS insider recently revealed that the 2024 cast has been hit with a series of strict AF rules to prevent them from going rogue.

Melinda backed this up, admitting that producers “really tightened the ship this time”.

Recalling The Bachelor cast being offered a $5,000 bonus to stay mum on the outcome of the show, the 33-year-old said MAFS should follow suit.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if MAFS put something like that in and if not, I think they should,” she said.

The threatening email all Married at First Sight contestants receive from producers

Melinda also dished on the “threatening” email brides and grooms receive before the show airs.

“You’ll get an email, and it will threaten, obviously, ‘our legal proceedings,’ and like the contracts are very, very strict. There’s no way around them,” she confessed.

“I think one of the first paragraphs was something about like they own us, they own everything now. Our voice, our name, our face, everything.”

So, yep, you’re really signing away EVERYTHING.
