My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge was rushed to hospital after suffering an injury on a family holiday in Thailand.
On January 15, the TV personality took to Instagram, telling his followers he’d split his leg open whilst kayaking with one of his daughters.
“We both fell off and I couldn’t get back in. So I decided to push my daughter to shore to save her because we were miles out,” he dramatically recalled in a video captioned: “10 stitches later… and no sympathy from my family”.
His daughter then chimed in, calling his story “fake”, whilst his wife Jane Hyland said the water was only “knee deep”.
“I’m telling the real story,” he continued. “As I pushed my daughter in because I was saving her life [the shore] was so far away… I grazed my leg on an oyster rock, which split it right open.
“Even the guy at the desk vomited,” he laughed, before thanking the hospital for looking after him “so well”.

The celebrity chef then gave his followers a glimpse of his gruesome injury, which he said required 10 stitches.
However, it seems his family weren’t so supportive during his “difficult” time.
“I got no love from any female in my house,” Colin joked. “I had to get a taxi on my own, basically patch myself up. And that’s today’s news from Thailand.”
His family then called him out for exaggerating his injury.
“You’ve made a mountain out of a molehill,” his wife chuckled. “He couldn’t get back in the kayak, he was like a baby elephant!”
Colin then joked that he’d “saved” his daughter’s life.
“You didn’t help me. I was actually enjoying myself,” she interjected, to which Colin replied: “Shut up. Don’t ruin the story.” LOL!
