The Block 2023‘s Leah and Ash Milton appear to be in need of a “Christmas miracle” as their home remains unsold.
The Queensland-based parents were the only duo not to sell their home on auction day in November, with insiders recently revealing that the property has since lost all of its offers from interested buyers.
“It is a really sad outcome for the two who poured a lot into this series,” a builder who worked on The Block told Yahoo! Lifestyle at the time.
Now, over a month since House Two was passed in after failing to sell under the hammer, a source said Leah and Ash are still desperately trying to offload the property.
“The winners and the losers of The Block seem disproportionally out of whack when you look at Steph and Gian [Ottavio] adding $1.7 million to their bank account while Leah and Ash still flounder around new ideas to sell their home,” an insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle in December.
“It is like the longer the house is still on the market the further away an ending is in sight. A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house sold in 2023.”
Concerns arise that incoming The Block contestants could sell before Leah and Ash Milton
The source also expressed that there is concern that a team from the upcoming 20th season of The Block could sell their home before Leah and Ash get the chance.
“The fact that someone who isn’t even cast in the next series set to be filmed in Phillip Island could beat them to the finish line is pretty concerning,” the source said.
The Blockheads have allegedly arranged for new photographs to be taken of House Two, which have since been shared on social media.
30 images showcasing the property are currently listed on Domain, where it’s described as “high on quality, big on space, & ready to adapt to today’s changing family lifestyles with an unparalleled up to 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, multi-living accommodation.”
