The nominations for the 2024 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards have been announced and some of our fave reality shows have made the list! Woohoo!
The 2024 AACTA Awards, presented by Foxtel Group, will take place at Home of the Arts in the Gold Coast, Queensland on February 10.
And a batch of unexpected TV programs have been nominated for some shiny awards. Who would’ve thought?!
FBOY Island Australia, fronted by our fave Abbie Chatfield, has made its way into the Best Reality Program category, alongside Real Housewives of Sydney and the hit cooking show MasterChef Australia.
Meanwhile, Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains, RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under and Hunted Australia also made the list. Yaas!
What other TV shows are nominated for the 2024 AACTA Awards?
Dancing with the Stars Australia has shimmied its way into the Best Entertainment Program category, alongside The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition and Lego Masters: Grand Masters.
Meanwhile, Gogglebox Australia landed itself in the Best Factual Entertainment Program category.
