An insider has spilled some explosive tea about Love Triangle Season Two’s Jacinta Matthews and her match Sheree Murray and our jaws are on the floor.
ICYMI: So Dramatic! previously reported that Jacinta is a “queer-shaming advocate” who allegedly “bullied” and “threatened” her matches Sheree and Nemo, who both ended up staying in hotels to get away from her.
Now, as revealed in episode 344 of the So Dramatic! podcast, there’s even more to the story than we could’ve ever imagined!
According to a production insider, Sheree only spent a total of six nights sleeping at Jacinta’s house. Sheree initially went home the first weekend of filming once she realised how “fake, flippant and toxic” Jacinta was.
She then spent one more night at the house, as instructed by production, before being allowed to stay at home full-time.
“[Producers] taxied [Sheree] back and forth for the rest of the time. The last dinner party was her final commitment for filming and she wasn’t present for anything else,” the source told So Dramatic. Phew. Things must’ve been really bad!
Love Triangle’s Jacinta is accused of ‘using her storyline as QUEER BAIT’
When Jacinta entered Love Triangle, she hid her gender and sexual identity behind the alias of “Jay”.
“From the offset, when Sheree saw [Jacinta’s] name, she knew she was queer and that she was using her storyline as queer bait. Which is everything that’s wrong with sexuality in this world,” the source explained.
“Someone disclosing they like men and women should not be used as a cliffhanger and Jacinta’s feeding into the stigma.” Amen!
Not only that, but Jacinta allegedly called Nemo one night and said: “Sheree isn’t queer because I made a physical pass at her and she didn’t take it”. And honestly, we have no words.
Insider addresses claims that Jacinta ‘THREATENED’ her matches on Love Triangle
On the show, Sheree told Nemo that Jacinta intended to break up with him.
When Nemo confronted Jacinta, we saw a HUGE fight erupt on screen. However, our source said this was worse behind the scenes.
“A second producer came to the house to take Nemo and Sheree away whilst Jacinta did her one-on-one interview,” they recalled.
Whilst Sheree was waiting by the garage, she heard Jacinta say, “You better keep that b*tch away from me. I swear to god if I ever see her.”
Sheree allegedly replied: “You’ll do what? Nothing I bet.”
After this exchange, Jacinta got taken out of the house and the garage door was closed on Sheree.
According to our source, this scenario was likely what sparked the rumours that Jacinta “threatened” her matches. And yikes.
Sheree confronted producers about Jacinta’s behaviour
The insider also revealed that Sheree confronted producers “multiple times” about Jacinta’s behaviour.
“Why are you allowing her to harass me verbally and sexually?” Sheree allegedly asked them. “Is it because we’re girls and girl on girl is hot? If she was a man you’d put a stop to it instantly.”
However, because Sheree only verbalised this to producers and never presented a formal, written complaint, nothing ever happened.
“If she came forward with these allegations now, it’d be hearsay,” the source added.
