Osher Günsberg has revealed why he’ll never quit his gig as the host of The Bachelor Australia franchise.

There are certain ingredients that make up the hit dating show we all know and love: chaotic rose ceremonies, BTS drama and, of course, good old Osh!

Luckily, the long-time host isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, with the TV personality telling New Idea that he’ll never quit the show because he loves love!

“My job, whether it be on whatever show I’m making, whatever podcast I’m doing, whatever I’m writing or whenever I’m speaking to people, my one job is to make people feel less alone,” he said. Aww!

Osher Günsberg shares his thoughts on the new season of The Bachelors Australia 2023

Unlike past seasons, the 49-year-old classified the upcoming series, fronted by Wesley Senna CortesBen Waddell and Luke Bateman, as a “semi-documentary”.

“A lot of thought and a lot of work went into the way we filmed this particular season,” he explained.

“Previously if we went to a cafe or something, we shut it down. This time we didn’t, they’re in a regular restaurant having dinner. It’s beautiful and so cool.” And we’re loving this realistic twist!

Osher also revealed whether he’d be a lead on The Bachelor if he wasn’t married to Audrey Griffin.

“No,” he laughed.

“I already knew way too much about television when this show started. I’ve been on TV for 25 years.

“But, if you can make a show where Maggie Dent is the judge and it’s a bunch of dads trying to out-dad each other and be the best dad they can be, then I’m in.” And there you have it, folks!
