Ten has dropped the trailer for the Gladiators reboot and it looks like we’re in for an epic showdown!
The iconic game show, which has been on a hiatus since 2008, will feature a fresh batch of Aussie contestants known as “Gladiators” as they take on one-time “Challengers” in the ultimate test of strength and power.
And on November 5, Ten shared an action-packed preview, promising the start of a “new era” for the hit reality show.
The teaser showed the brand-new cast dressed up in their Gladiator outfits as they glided across the screen.
“In the ancient times, champions once reigned supreme. Schooled in the sacred code of honour, courage and strength,” the trailer teased.
“Now, a new era begins as a fresh wave of warriors take up their call.” And we can’t wait!
A selection of cast members were later introduced with their Gladiator names, including powerlifter Jaymii Morris as Chaos, MMA fighter Chanique Greyling as Halo, NRL’s Sandor Earl as Phoenix and Ironman Jett Kenny as Viking.

Hosted by I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia‘s Liz Ellis and The Amazing Race‘s Beau Ryan, the series will feature a mix of brand-new events as well as the classic challenges Aussies know and love.

Keep your eyes peeled, because Gladiators will premiere on Channel 10 and 10Play on January 7!
