Big Brother Australia is back for 2023 and here’s everything we know about the saucy new season!
The hit reality show has promised us its “spiciest” rendition yet, with a house full of singles ready to mingle, scheme and hopefully score a blue tick at the end.
Originally dubbed Big Brother: House of Love, the series has been touted to bring a Love Island energy that fans haven’t seen before on the show.
However, the theme was scrapped when producers realised things weren’t going as planned. Ouch.
Nonetheless, the season will still feature all the drama and backstabbing we’ve grown to love.

What does the winner win?
Cut away from the outside world, 15 contestants will live together and compete in a set of challenges under the watchful eye of Big Brother.
Whoever manages to avoid evictions and fight their way to the top will take home a jaw-dropping $100,000 cash prize. Wowza!
Who is the host of Big Brother Australia 2023?
Long-time host Sonia Kruger is fronting the show yet again, and we couldn’t think of anyone better for the job!
According to MediaWeek, the TV personality warned the 2023 contestants to “prepare for the unexpected”.
“Right from the very beginning, Big Brother will throw a spanner in the works and the Housemates [will] need to make game-changing decisions,” she said. Sounds saucy!
Who is on the cast?
This season, 15 sexy singles will be taking on Big Brother.

Where is it filmed?
Despite what you may think, Big Brother Australia 2023 wasn’t actually filmed in a house!
The new season was filmed in a production studio that was built specifically for the show. However, the exact location is yet to be revealed.
In 2022, Big Brother was filmed in Sydney’s Olympic Park, whilst the 2021 season was shot in Sydney’s North Head.
Many of you may remember the OG Big Brother house in Dreamworld, Queensland. However, this ICONIC landmark was sadly ripped down in 2019.
When is Big Brother Australia 2023 on?
Big Brother airs every Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on Seven and 7Plus. You can also catch the X-rated spin-off Big Brother Uncut on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on 7Plus.
