The Block 2023‘s Leah Milton has revealed that she knew Kyle and Leslie Cottone had sold their bonus point gnome. But we thought she was blindsided?
ICYMI: Kyle and Leslie sold their gnome to Steph and Gian Ottavio to prevent Leah and Ash Milton from winning the Ford Mustang they desperately wanted. (Spoiler alert: they won anyway).
And whilst it appeared that Leah and Ash were the only team who didn’t know about this exchange, it seems the pair had an inkling after all.
In an exclusive 9Entertainment video, Leah said she realised that the gnome had changed hands the night before the room reveals.
“It was out of nowhere,” Ash chimed in. And was it really out of nowhere, or had producers spilled the tea to Leah?
He added: “[Leah] was like, ‘They’ve bought the gnome’. And I thought ‘No way, Kyle and Leslie wouldn’t sell it.”
Leah also admitted that she thought it was “all over” for her and Ash when Steph and Gian were about to use their gnome during the room reveals.
However, the controversial couple ended up winning by half a point, bagging themselves a brand-new $80,000 Ford Mustang. And it’s safe to say fans were less than thrilled.
