The Block 2023‘s Eliza and Liberty Paschke have debunked the lies Kristy and Brett Beams spread about them in the media, and we knew this BS wasn’t true!
ICYMI: Kristy and Brett claimed that they were the “only team that didn’t cheat” on the show, stating that Eliza and Liberty had “bribed” their tradies with “alcohol” to get waterproofing on their house.
During their appearance on KIIS FM’s Jase & Lauren show on October 23, the sisters spoke out about these allegations.
“You start on an even playing field. And when you’re telling people to get stuffed… they’re going to be less willing to work with you.”
Eliza explained that Foreman Dan told the sisters to give a bottle of alcohol to their tradies as a thank-you gesture.
“We gave [this gift] in front of [Kristy and Brett’s] House Three,” she told hosts Jason Hawkins and Lauren Phillips. “Do you think if it was cheating or dodgy, we’d be doing it outside their house?” And good point!
“What Kristy and Brett can’t grasp is that kindness, respect and good relationships get you places. They just can’t fathom it. The lies they’re coming out with about us are incredible.”
The controversial couple also accused Liberty and Eliza of writing apology letters to production due to their behaviour on the show.
Eliza’s bestie, Carly Bowyer, already addressed these claims. However, Liberty also took the chance to set the record straight.
“We wrote letters to the crew at the end of filming to thank them for the life-changing opportunity,” she explained. “They all said to us, this is the first time any contestant has ever done this.”
However, the Adelaide-based couple turned this nice gesture into “one big lie”.

When asked if Kristy and Brett’s villain behaviour was “just a facade”, the sisters confirmed that the pair were “not nice people”.
“They’re the same on and off camera, from what we’ve experienced,” they added.
“It wasn’t a game to us. I left my job of 10 years to go on this show. We were real then and real now and the editing was spot on,” Eliza confirmed. And you heard it here first!
