Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022’s Benjahmin James AKA Carla From Bankstown has called out “seriously RUDE” Jetstar staff after his flight to Sydney was cancelled.

On September 20, the reality star posted a series of snaps to his Story whilst he waited for his flight at Brisbane airport.

“Thank you Jetstar Australia for cancelling my flight ten minutes before it was boarding and making me wait three hours ’til the next one,” the 29-year-old started.

“I have a gig on tonight back in Sydney [that] I’ll be late for and will lose money for. It’s amazing. Thank you for that!”

The drag star then warned the airline that he’d become a “Karen” if the situation wasn’t rectified.

“I’ve been sitting here for the last two hours waiting and if you cancel this flight I will make a video and I will become Karen from Bankstown and lose my mind. I will lose money for these cancelled flights.”

Benjahmin then told his followers that he finally boarded his plane five hours later. And he wasn’t impressed with how the airline’s staff handled the situation.

“Five hours later on a plane home and @jetstaraustralia staff are so rude! You should be ashamed,” he wrote. “Never had any issue with you EVER and now you want to be gronks?!”

“Watch out, I’m making the BIGGEST complaint in the history of your existence,” he added.

“And your staff [were] so rude to me when [I asked] what’s happening, saying, ‘Oh, we all want to go home babe’.

“Don’t call me babe. I’m not your babe, bro. Seriously RUDE.” Yikes.

A Jetstar spokesperson has since gotten in touch with Daily Mail Australia, telling them that the flight was cancelled due to “an engineering requirement, with our aircraft needing a spare part.”

“We apologise for the inconvenience this caused and thank our customers for their patience while our teams worked hard to get everyone on their way as quickly as possible.”

“Safety is always our number one priority,” they finished. And it looks like we’re second-guessing our budget travel plans…
