My Kitchen Rules Australia is back for 2023, but which judges have been be tasked with putting this year’s batch of home cooks through their paces?

The hit cooking show follows six teams of budding chefs from all over Australia as they cook real food in their actual homes. And no, we’re not talking about Betty Crocker cakes.

The team that shows the most potential will get the chance to win a whopping $100,000. But who has the honour of crowning the winners?

Manu Feildel

French-Australian chef Manu Feildel has been hosting and judging My Kitchen Rules since its first season in 2010.

He’s also branched out to other reality shows, as he judged Australia’s Got Talent in 2019, sashayed on Dancing with the Stars 2021 and took on base camp on SAS Australia 2021, to name a few. So it’s safe to say he’s a man of many talents.

According to his personal website, the 49-year-old comes from a long line of chefs, so cooking is literally in his DNA.

As for his career milestones, he used to co-own L’etoile, a French bistro in Sydney’s Paddington, which closed in 2014.

He’s also written a small library of cookbooks, including Manu’s French Kitchen, Manu’s French Bistro, French for Everyone and More Please!.

Colin Fassnidge

Joining Manu as a co-host and judge is Irish-Australian chef Colin Fassnidge, who’s been a familiar face on the cooking show since 2013.

His love for pub food inspired him to open up Banksia in Sydney’s Banksia Hotel. The newly-renovated bistro serves traditional pub meals with a “modern flair”, and our mouths are watering already!

Like any renowned chef, the 49-year-old also has two cookbooks: Four Kitchens and The Commonsense Cook.

The TV personality also came fifth on I’m A Celebrity in 2021, so you know he has what it takes to whip the new crop of home chefs into shape.

Nigella Lawson

Last but definitely not least, UK icon Nigella Lawson will be judging Finals Week at Kitchen HQ, where the top teams will be battling it out for the prize.

The bestselling author is famous for her hit cookbooks, including How To Eat, Nigella Bites and Nigella Fresh, to name a few.

The TV personality has also hosted many cooking shows, including her self-titled shows, Nigella and Simply Nigella.

So yeah, the 63-year-old is a pretty big deal, so we can’t wait to see how she gels with the new cast!
