A Farmer Wants a Wife Australia producer has spilled some cute AF behind-the-scenes tea about newly engaged couple Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan.
ICYMI: The duo met on the wholesome dating show in 2021, then in August, revealed that Andrew had popped the question to Jess on their Delegate, NSW farm.
Now, one of the producers tasked with interviewing Jess for FWAW has confessed he had a good feeling about the couple since day dot.
Tim Thatcher, who worked on the show during Andrew and Jess’ season, took to Instagram after the exciting news was announced.
“Three years ago I had the honour of working on Farmer Wants a Wife season 11,” he wrote. “After filming Farmer Andrew’s backstory I was then tasked with casting his ‘ladies’.
“After a one-hour Zoom with Jess (and 53 hours with hopefuls) during COVID, it was pretty clear that she was perfect for Andrew.”
Tim added that he is “so glad” things have worked out as they have.
“It has come full circle and this Farmer has found his wife,” he concluded.
“Congratulations Jess and Farmer Andrew, another success story for Farmer Wants a Wife.”

In their August 7 Instagram post, Andrew and Jess shared a series of snaps from the moment Andrew got down on one knee.
“Farmer Wants a Wife,” the post was captioned alongside a ring and heart emoji.
The couple’s co-stars flooded the comments section with love and congratulatory messages.
“Farmer got a wifeyyyy congrats guys,” Hayley Love commented, whilst Nickia Cerneka penned: “Woweeeee!!!! Congrats you two”.
Jess later shared a close-up video of her stunning and unique engagement ring, which featured a yellow, emerald-cut jewel.
“The most precious thing I could ever own,” she captioned the clip. “Truly blessed.
“Thank you future husband.”
