Farmer Wants a Wife only had one lasting couple in 2021, but Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan‘s whirlwind romance is all we could ever ask for.
The heartwarming couple admits it was “love at first sight” after meeting in the otherwise tumultuous 11th season of the “most successful” reality dating show.
The FWAW 2021 finale saw Jess and Andrew declare their love for each other. We still get a little teary-eyed over that adorable moment.
“Love for me is something that I’ve found very hard to talk about and express. And then I met Jess, and she showed me what love is,” Andrew said.

Farmer Wants a Wife’s Jess Nathan Wasn’t Sure About Moving the Country to Be With Andrew Guthrie
Having previously lived in Melbourne, Jess left her city-slicker life behind to go live with her sheep farmer beau in his hometown of Delegate in rural New South Wales.
Well, to be fair, she lived in semi-regional Victoria, the Dandenong Ranges, but she described herself as a “city girl”. Nonetheless, Jess knew it would be a very big change.
After their first kiss on Farmer Wants a Wife 2021, Jess admitted she wasn’t sure if she would be willing to move to a farm.
She was concerned about leaving her family, friends and job in Melbourne to be with someone she kinda just met, which is a pretty fair call, TBH.
Farmer Wants a Wife 2021’s Andrew Guthrie Bought a Home with Partner Jess Nathan
In November 2021, Jess revealed on Instagram that she and Andrew had “finally’ shacked up together.
“WE LIVE TOGETHER!!” Jess captioned the photo of Andrew giving her a piggyback.
She continued: “After exactly 11 months of long-distance and a million lockdowns later, today has finally arrived.”
The 29-year-old never does things by halves. Jess put her money where her heart is and purchased a fixer-upper home with Andrew.
She said at the time: “So excited to start this next chapter with my new love. Starting with a big ol’ house reno on our brand-spankin’ new property! (Well, new to us) [sic]”.
Are Jess Nathan and Andrew Planning on Starting a Family?
It hasn’t always been smoothing sailing for the loved-up couple, especially with Jess’ ongoing health issues. In February 2022, Jess told Seven about her “debilitating” battle with stage four Endometriosis.
She was first diagnosed as a teenager and recalled being “confused and scared” when she started experiencing “excruciating” pain during her monthly period.
Jess recalled being concerned that she would “never be a mother”.
However, doctors told Jess in November 2021 that she shouldn’t have any “issues conceiving” naturally.
“I have been grossly emotional, which I’m going to blame on hormones, but being able to have a baby naturally (of course, nothing’s guaranteed, but🤞) is my dream, and I’m just so happy about it (when the time’s right, chill out everyone) [sic],” she revealed on Instagram.
