FBOY Island Australia 2023‘s Ziara Rae has spilled some juicy behind-the-scenes goss during an Instagram Q&A and we love to hear it.
Ziara, who confessed her love to “Nice Guy” Izaya Leota during the explosive finale, shared some spicy deets about the show on July 13.
When asked if runner-up Cory Brown actually slept in her bed during their 24-hour date, the model confirmed that it was just edited to seem that way.
“We actually had these beds set up in the villa that didn’t make the edit. Me and the girls had the decision whether we wanted the boys to sleep in our beds or not. I didn’t want Cory in my bed,” the 21-year-old dished.
“The audio that plays over our date that made it look like we slept together, is literally me eating strawberries. Producers needed to create the illusion of me having a tough decision to make because I really didn’t.” Tea!
However, the reality star confirmed that Izaya slept in her bed during his 24-hour date.
Ziara also addressed what would happen if the leading ladies all went for the same guy.
“This was [also] one of my burning questions coming onto the show,” she said.
“But it all happened so organically and half of the guys are FBoys and they’re there for the money, so they’ll go for whoever’s giving them the chat,” she laughed.

Ziara also admitted that she liked the fact that Izaya wasn’t aggressively pursuing her.
“That’s what I liked about him, he was never the first to jump the gun,” she said.
Despite this, the pair were “all over each other” during filming.
“A lot of our scenes [got] cut out, because we were literally all over each other all the time. We were making out everywhere, it was ridiculous and [my final pick] would’ve been so obvious if they left it all in,” she recalled.
The Melbourne-based queen also spilled the beans on her long-distance relationship with Izaya, who lives on the Gold Coast.
However, according to Ziara, the pair are yet to spend more than a week apart despite the distance between them.
“We’ll figure out who’s going to move where later, but for now, we’re just enjoying life. It’s actually fun doing long-distance because it’s a change of scenery, we’re enjoying it,” she shared. Aww!
Are there alcohol limits on FBOY Island?
Unlike Love Island Australia, where the cast was allowed just two units of alcohol per day, FBOY Island contestants got pretty liquored up.
“We were lucky, we were allowed two standard drinks per hour and the bartenders would log down who’s drinking what,” she revealed.
“But if you’re a lightweight like me, that’s more than enough.” And girl, we’d be on the floor!
