FBOY Island Australia 2023 winner Nick Brown dumped his girlfriend just days before his stint on the show and we don’t trust anyone anymore.
The self-proclaimed “Nice Guy” ended up with Molly O’Halloran during the EPIC Finale after publicly admitting that he hadn’t been in a relationship for two years.
However, according to The Daily Telegraph, this wasn’t entirely true, as he DUMPED his girlfriend Ruby Sharan just days before filming commenced so he could split the $50k with Molly.
Turns out he and Vernon Lyon have more in common than we thought!
Supposedly, Nick dated the Sydney-based healthcare worker for over nine months.
“I was casually seeing Ruby, she understood the situation. While I was seeing Ruby for a short period of time, it wasn’t a relationship, it was just casual,” the reality star recalled.
“I’m still a 25-year-old male and we got along well… but she knew from the start I didn’t want a relationship.” Sure she did, Nick. NGL, it’s giving Harrison Boon…
He then explained that Ruby knew the fling was never going to work as he wanted to pursue rugby overseas.
“And she [also] knew that I was [going on the show]. That was what it was,” he added.

Now despite this, he still went to Hamilton Island with Ruby and her entire family in January. Doesn’t sound very “casual” to us!
It’s also been reported the pair went to the Gold Coast together for Nick’s birthday for several days in early February.
“He was at Ruby’s 21st, came on holidays with the family to Hamilton Island in January and [they] never left each other’s side,” an insider told The Daily Telegraph.
“It was his birthday on Hamilton Island as well and Ruby took him to a dinner at some expensive restaurant and spent over $700 for it.”
Yikes, we wonder what Molly thinks of this…
