Radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed exactly how he spent a whopping $500,000 during his honeymoon and our invite must’ve got lost in the mail.
The 52-year-old shock jock is known to be quite the big spender, sparing no expense for his $1 million-plus lavish Sydney wedding to Tegan Kynaston back in April.
However, during The Kyle & Jackie O Show on July 11, the problematic host shocked listeners when he revealed how much the pair spent on their THREE-week European honeymoon with their 11-month-old son Otto and KIIS FM staff.
For the first week of their trip, the family were joined by Kyle’s co-host Jackie O Henderson and her daughter Kitty, Kyle’s manager Bruno Bouchet, and a few of their producers including Peter Deppeler.
Whilst reading out Kyle’s very long list of expenses from his trip live on-air, Jackie revealed that his Saint-Tropez villa, where he stayed for over two weeks, cost him a cool $155,000 alone.
But that’s not all he spent on accommodation. The father-of-one also forked out $50,000 for a four-night stay in a “big presidential suite” in Barcelona, which we must note, is more than many Aussies make in a single year.

It’s safe to say the Australian Idol judge travels in style, especially after hearing that he dropped a casual $35,000 on FIRST CLASS return flights for himself and Tegan. And as Fergie would say, it sounds pretty glamorous.
But that was only the tip of the iceberg… On top of that, Kyle spent $80,000 on two private jets to fly him from Paris to Saint-Tropez and from Saint-Tropez to Barcelona. Sheesh!
But why? Because he “couldn’t bear the thought of getting on an economy plane.” I mean… fair.
“I always think it’s worth it,” he said. “Fly private, there’s no better way, in all honesty.” Noted!
Kyle also revealed that he forked out $25,000 to have a driver for the ENTIRE trip “in case someone wanted to go somewhere” and $3,000 to have a “little wooden speedboat” on standby. Because you know? Just in case…
“I think I got on [the boat] once. Tegan was on it a few times,” he laughed in justification.
Oh, and he also spent $12,000 on a rental car and $7,500 to fly one of his producers over to join them “last minute”. Cool.

Now here’s where our jealousy really kicks in. Whilst reading through the damages, Jackie revealed that Kyle spent $60,000 on meals during the trip.
When Jackie asked how this was even possible, Kyle explained that he only dined at expensive restaurants whilst he was abroad. He also took his colleagues out for meals a couple of times. At least he’s generous!
And despite sharing that he doesn’t even drink, the radio host spent a hefty $12,650 on alcohol and “expensive champagne”.
But that’s not all… Kyle also revealed that he dropped $20,000 just on tips.
“This is where I’m a wanker. I tip huge and I don’t know why,” he dished.
“Tegan’s always like, ‘Babe, you don’t need to tip that much’. It’s always either whatever the cost of the food is or half of the cost of the food, I tip well.”
Jackie pointed out that the waiters were “quite surprised when [he] tipped them” in France as they “don’t expect tips over there.”
“Actually you got me there, you’re right,” Kyle replied. “That was stupid, I could’ve saved that.”
What else did Kyle Sandilands splurge on during his honeymoon?
Unsurprisingly, Kyle had a lot of miscellaneous expenses. He shared that he dropped $3,500 on travel insurance, $3,500 on jet-skiing, a laughable $5,700 on ciggies and vapes and an “accidental” $6,000 at the casino.
He also forked out $21,000 to cover his nanny’s food, travel and accommodation and where can we sign up?
Jackie then revealed that Kyle spent a total of $513,430 on his honeymoon.
“You can’t replace those memories,” he justified, before stating that he actually didn’t have “any memories” because he was “high for most of [the trip]”
“By the way, you don’t have to beep that out because you’re allowed to smoke weed in France and you’re allowed to be as stoned as a mother-effer in Spain,” he laughed whilst on-air.
“If I flick back through Tegan’s Instagram photos I’m sure the memories will come flooding back.” Sigh. Wouldn’t it be nice…
