The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s Thomas Malucelli has responded to his ex-fiancée Leah Cummings dropping bombshells about their “weird” relationship.
ICYMI: Leah recently shared that she “risked [her] health” to be with the Bachie after he proposed in the finale because the restauranteur “doesn’t believe in modern medicine”.
Then, she elaborated in a tell-all episode of the So Dramatic! podcast in July, explaining further that she was “gaslighted” by her Italian-born bae.
Thomas has since indirectly addressed Leah’s tea-spilling sesh on his Instagram Story and well, here’s what he had to say.
“Hey, today is just a little reminder to go out there and be absolutely awesome,” he started. “A few things happened to me…where I could have easily stepped into the energy of drama, the energy of gossip.
“But I thought to myself, ‘I don’t really want to put my energy into something that’s not going to serve me.”
The 36-year-old then told people to remember that “your energy is your biggest currency”.
“So, big reminder, we do not entertain drama, we do not entertain gossip and we do not entertain any sort of negativity.”
We mean, if you truly weren’t bothered by the “drama and gossip”, would you be putting your energy into making an Instagram Story saying you’re NOT putting your energy into the “drama and gossip”?

Following Leah’s interview with The Advertiser in May — in which she revealed Thomas was the one to dump her — he told the publication her claims were “disappointing”.
“It’s so disappointing that a relationship founded on The Bachelor, which was such an enjoyable experience and growth period, would now be dragged through the mud,” he said.
“I have the utmost respect for the contestants from the show and the collective journey we have been on. I have only love for the Bachelorettes.”
Amid her claims, Leah said she often found herself needing to use her asthma puffer in “private” when with Thomas.
She now describes the act as “disgusting”.
“He said, ‘I think you have asthma because you believe you have asthma’,” she recalled.
Thomas reportedly also claimed the same about Leah’s anxiety disorder and encouraged her to stop taking her medications.
“My mum’s sister died of asthma,” she said.
However, when Thomas was in a motorcycle accident while they were together, he took medication.
When she questioned his claim he didn’t believe in “modern medicine”, he said, “These drugs are real”.
