Married at First Sight Australia 2023 participants are reportedly unimpressed with bride Evelyn Ellis being “favourited” by Channel Nine post-show.
It’s nearly been three months since the marriage experiment concluded on-screen, but it seems the “divide” among the cast is only just ramping up.
From tiffs over Logies invitations to tense friendships, it’s all verrrry messy.
Now, one p*ssed-off cast member has spilled more tea about the participants’ drama to Yahoo! Lifestyle and yikes, it’s HOT.
Apparently, the cast is “mad” that Evelyn is copping all the spotlight, particularly considering she only rocked up partway through the series as an intruder.
“Evelyn arrived halfway through the season, wasn’t the main person in any of the big storylines, and is now getting every opportunity and the rest of us get nothing,” they said.
“That’s why people are mad.”
They added: “Her and Duncan [James] didn’t even get together on the show and [Channel Nine] are promoting them as the big success story now at events and on Today… It makes no sense.”
We mean, we kinda see their point, but at the end of the day, MAFS success is all about the hustle, baby!

ICYMI: Evelyn and Melinda Willis sparked fallout rumours after they were spotted “avoiding” each other at an event for the 2023 Logie nominations on June 19.
However, Melinda later claimed things were all good between the brides, despite the “awkward” encounter.
“When I went over to say hi and hug Ev at the event, she didn’t give me a hug,” the beauty CEO explained. “So, I was really awkward and taken aback.”
Melinda said she and Evelyn spoke “later on”, which was when Evelyn said she, “thought it was [Melinda] who wasn’t going to give her the hug”.
“So, she was also awkward,” the 33-year-old confessed. “So, everything’s okay.”
The clarification came after insiders dished that Tahnee Cook and Evelyn “aren’t friends”.
