The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s Jed McIntosh has been busted buying Instagram followers several months after his season bombed in the ratings.
The world-first multi-lead series failed to live up to the hype, especially after none of the stars stayed with their final picks.
Now, as reported in episode 289 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it seems Jed has gone to new lengths after failing to find love and fame on the show.
One sleuth slid into our DMs to reveal they “noticed that Jed McIntosh seemed to have gained a lot of followers suddenly”.
“So I went on [Instagram statistics website] Social Blade and look,” they said alongside a screenshot. “He was steadily and consistently losing followers and then BOOM!
“One random Wednesday in April, he suddenly gains a clean 10k new followers. What are the odds?”
Obviously, anyone can purchase fake followers for any given account, so it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Machine Gun Jed doing the dirty work.
Regardless, So Dramatic! has contacted Jed for comment.
Jed McIntosh pulls the ‘Do you know who I am?’ card
It comes after one spy dished in episode 277 of the So Dramatic! podcast that they clocked Jed while “having dinner at China Bar”.
“He was in a bit of a tiff disputing his bill,” they revealed and LOL — dinner and a show!
“He was raising his voice, saying things like, ‘You are treating me pretty rudely’ and, ‘This exact same thing happened to me last week when I was in here.”
Apparently, the waitress tried “a couple of times” to “resolve the issue”.
“She was pretty nice considering he was being such a d*ckhead,” the source confessed.
They added that Jed continued to “complain” that the waitress was “yelling at him”.
However, the onlooker confirmed that “she wasn’t”.
Yikes…
