Victoria Police have rubbished Bride and Prejudice Australia 2019 star Dannii Erskine‘s claims that multiple individuals have been arrested over the developing “death hoax” drama.
The reality star has been the centre of headlines in recent weeks after she revealed herself to be alive after family members seemingly confirmed her death in a fatal car accident in April.
However, several sources have claimed Dannii is no stranger to “faking” her death, having attempted to con loved ones in 2022.

Now, as reported in episode 293 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto has followed up on the 28-year-old’s allegations that a number of people have been taken into custody for “threatening” and “assaulting” her, as well as “hacking” her social media.
Bride and Prejudice Australia 2019‘s Dannii Erskine ‘confirms’ police have arrested individuals
In both Instagram DMs, public comments and statements to the media, Dannii expressed that authorities are dealing with those “behind” the alleged hoax and a recent assault.
In a message obtained by So Dramatic!, Dannii told an old high school peer that she “can’t say anything” about the ongoing issues.
“I can’t say anything right now, but the people behind this have been arrested,” she wrote.
When another user messaged Dannii expressing she could face “massive trouble with the law”, she replied: “My family won’t be in any trouble because as we speak the people have been arrested.”

When one of her followers commented asking about Dannii’s alleged “stalker”, the reality star said she can’t “comment on that at the moment”.
“It’s in the polices [sic] hands,” she penned. “I will let them do there [sic] job.”

During an appearance on Sunrise on May 16, Dannii also claimed a “well-known stalker of hers” was responsible for the posts on her Instagram announcing her death. However, she said she couldn’t “confirm any sort of names”.
“Unfortunately, I thought things had passed but clearly they haven’t passed,” she explained.
“So it is being investigated and hopefully justice will come soon and someone will be charged for this.”
Dannii also told So Dramatic! multiple times that “people had been arrested” over the hacking of her Instagram. She also claimed she was “physically assaulted” multiple times in the past week and that the perpetrators have also been arrested.
Victoria Police address allegations that arrests have been made regarding Dannii Erskine’s death hoax
Dannii, who recently revealed she applied for Married at First Sight, also expressed to Megan that authorities had intervened on the people she claims are responsible for the death hoax and the assaults.
So Dramatic!‘s host followed up on these claims to gain clarity from Dannii via email.
However, the Victorian replied: “This email is currently unavailable for the foreseeable future.”
Megan then got in touch with Victoria Police to verify these claims. Lo and behold, they were unable to confirm that they were true.
“We have no reports of incidents matching the details provided,” a spokesperson from Victoria Police said.

It comes after Megan contacted the authorities regarding Dannii’s insistence that police were looking into the “hacker” who posted Dannii’s supposed death notice on her Instagram page.
The Mornington Peninsula local previously reported that someone in the Geelong region had hacked her social media on April 29. And, as such, explained the “Geelong Division Police Unit” were investigating the incident.
Victoria Police confirm there is no ‘Geelong Division Police Unit’
However, when Victoria Police was asked about this case, having been provided with the alleged report number, they said it was not in their system.
“The number you have provided is not a Victoria Police incident number — I have no idea what it is,” a representative said.
They added: “There is no ‘Geelong Division Police Unit’.
“If someone reported something to the local police, they would have a contact person of who they spoke to. We require this info to try and follow up on whether a report has been made.”
When probed by Megan for contact details where and to whom Dannii made the report, the Bride and Prejudice star refused to say.
“I can’t confirm or deny that at this time.”
