Abbie Chatfield has revealed she has embarked on a new relationship, confessing to fans that she’s “trying out” monogamy again following her previous open relationship.

ICYMI: Abbie and her last public partner, Konrad Bien-Stephen, revealed they were in an open relationship before splitting midway through 2022.

Now, the serial reality star has confessed she’s back on the dating scene. However, she’s a tad confused by the “language” involved with monogamy.

During the Adelaide leg of her Trauma Dump tour, Abbie explained her gripe to the sold-out crowd at Torrensville’s Thebarton Theatre.

“I don’t get monogamous language,” she confessed. “I didn’t know what exclusive meant.”

The 27-year-old failed to identify her new bae, explaining that the romance is still pretty fresh.

“It’s been six days!” she admitted.

While fans are surely keen to down any intel Abbie might have on her latest partner, the FBOY Island host recently told Stellar Magazine that she isn’t keen on going public anytime soon.

Abbie told the publication that her celebrity profile can often put pressure on a relationship.

As such, she’s keeping her romances close to her chest for the time being.

“I wouldn’t go public unless I was engaged,” she admitted. “I don’t think I have the capacity to be with someone publicly.”

According to Abbie, who has signed onto her second season as a panellist on The Masked Singer Australia, dating someone in the same “industry” as her “causes so much sh*t”.

“If they’re not in the industry, they’re getting dragged into my life, which isn’t really fair,” she added.

“If I have a first date with someone, and someone takes a photo of us, then we have to have the conversation of how we’re going to address it in the media.

“It kind of sucks the fun out of everything.”
