I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia 2023‘s Domenica Calarco has revealed the true reason she called co-star Kerri-Anne Kennerley a “c*nt”.
And TBH, it kinda makes sense.
As exclusively reported by So Dramatic!, Kerri-Anne was said to be in therapy after her on-screen beef with Domenica, which ended with the MAFS bride slinging “vile” language at the longtime TV presenter.
The tea was backed up by evictee Ian “Dicko” Dickson, who told The Kyle and Jackie O Show that Domenica even went as far as to call her co-star the C-bomb before it was cut from the final edit.
Domenica has since been booted from the jungle, and she has a lot to say for herself off the back of the drama.
Chatting to news.com.au, the 30-year-old confirmed she called Kerri-Anne a “c*nt” and admitted it was “unacceptable”.
She also claimed to have asked producers to pass on an apology to KAK, who ditched the show after a matter of days.
“I haven’t spoken to her personally because I was in the jungle but I had passed on a message to her,” Domenica said.
“I have apologised for my language, it was unbecoming.”
She conceded that the slur resulted from being hangry (A.K.A hungry-angry) and come on, we’ve all been there.
“I wouldn’t use that language again, now that I’m fed,” Domenica confessed. “But in the heat of the moment, I was struggling mentally.
“The sleep deprivation, the food deprivation, it gets to you. So for me, it was a culmination of all of that.
“I’m not proud of the language, but I stand by how I felt. And I still feel that [way].”

Drama aside, Domenica said she was shook that Kerri-Anne bailed on I’m a Celebrity.
“I kind of thought KAK had a little bit more in her. I didn’t think she’d throw in the towel,” she said.
ICYMI: The former Studio 10 presenter called it quits after refusing to participate in challenges involving eating suspicious delicacies.
“KAK was constantly getting voted in [to do challenges] because people wanted to see her push herself out of her comfort zone, but before we even headed in, she was adamant she wasn’t going to try,” Domenica recalled.
While she herself was “terrified” of the food challenges, she “knew” she would put her all in to “bring home stars”.
“Everyone was starving,” she admitted. “You’ve got to be selfless, it’s not about you, it’s about feeding everyone. So it was that frustration of knowing we were gonna get nowhere with her.”
Now, with a clear head and full belly, Domenica wants to bury the hatchet if KAK is keen.
“[If I saw her] I’d say, ‘I’d love to get a Pinot gris with you, my shout,’” she said.
“Obviously she’s no longer in Africa but if the chance comes up I’d happily have a chat with her.”
