I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia often sees the stars baring all emotionally. However, there’s reportedly a secret “code” that ensures they’re not overexposed while taking a shower in the jungle.

We’re absolute fiends for some BTS tea and the I’m a Celeb contestants are dishing it out in droves upon exiting the Channel Ten series.

The latest to make their way back to civilisation is Ian “Dicko” Dickson, who told News.com.au all about the show’s shower protocols.

Apparently, the celebs would use their Akubras and mics to let their co-stars know the shower was occupied.

‘If you leave your Akubra upturned with your microphone in it, at the point where you turn down to go towards the showers, it means that person’s in the shower and you’re not to go in there,” he explained.

“That was the code.”

However, not everyone gave a rats whether they had privacy or not.

Aesha [Scott] and Dom[enica Calarco] showered nude all the time and didn’t care who saw them,” he admitted. “Which is not an invitation to look, because none of us did.”

He even explained his shower routine in the jungle, dishing he initially bathed in his undies but “ended up taking them off and showering nude”.

“I was certain no-one wants to look at my 60-year-old reptilian body anyway.”

Dicko revealed drama between Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Domenica Calarco was cut from I’m a Celebrity

Exclusively revealed in episode 279 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Domenica used “vile” language towards Kerri-Anne Kennerley in scenes that were ultimately cut from the show.

After his exit, Dicko told The Kyle and Jackie O Show what actually went down, and yikes.

“It got a little bit more heated after that,” the ex-Australian Idol judge said of the argument.

When Jackie O Henderson questioned why it wasn’t aired, he said: “Because it might have involved the C-bomb.”

Clarifying that Domenica called Kerri-Anne the controversial term, Dicko said it was “one of the most remarkable thing [he’s] ever seen”.

The former TV bride has since copped backlash for the slur after she told fellow MAFS alum Liam Cooper that “you can’t use that word to describe a woman” in March.
