Debra Lawrance‘s elimination from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2023 has struck a nerve with viewers insisting the wrong person was sent home.
The fan favourite was given the boot on April 23 after she failed to receive enough votes from the public to save her from elimination.
Fans took to Twitter to express their outrage as the 66-year-old former Home and Away star was delivered the crushing blow.

Anyone who tuned into the first episode of the season would recall the general confusion around why Logie-winning actor Debra is considered a celebrity. Did no one watch Home and Away during the 1990s and 2000s?!
But Debra soon won over the hearts of viewers for enduring one of the grossest ever challenges – eating a pig’s penis.
“Everything I did… I had the trial eating pigs’ anus and pigs’ penis, so tick! And now I’m here!” she joked after the elimination.
Debra admitted she would love to “have made it to the end” for her charity, Ovarian Cancer Australia.
“Hopefully we’ve raised lots of awareness and some money for them because they’re an extraordinary charity,” she said. “But it was just one of the best times of my life.”
She even hosted acting classes in the jungle which garnered a lot of respect from fans.
