After relationship rumours swirled for Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Jesse Burford and Janelle Han, we finally have the tea on what’s really going on between them.

After their respective partners, Claire Nomarhas and Adam Seed, hooked up behind their backs on a pub night out, it’s no surprise the duo found comfort in each other.

We never thought things were romantic until a So Dramatic! spy clocked Jesse and Janelle in February, enjoying a meal together in Perth.

“It was very cosy between them,” the sleuth noted.

So, when Jesse dropped in for a chat on the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto didn’t pass up the chance to interrogate the wedding celebrant on his relationship status.

“Janelle and I were looking cosy because we are good mates,” Jesse initially said.

However, it wasn’t long before the 31-year-old revealed all, admitting that he and Janelle have, in fact, discussed the potential of their friendship turning into a romantic relationship.

“Janelle just moved to Sydney,” Jesse, who lives in Perth, noted. “So even if we were gonna walk down that path, we both said to each other that a long-distance relationship is not something that is an option for us.

“We don’t want to be doing that.”

Taking to TikTok, Jesse played into rumours that he’s dating Janelle with a cheeky AF video.

Sitting shirtless, Jesse asked whether someone could “teach [him] how to fricken do this [TikTok]”.

“Janelle!” he then called out. “Janelle, can you come teach me how to work this TikTok thing?” LOL.

While fans loved the post, the same couldn’t be said for the head honchos at Channel Nine.

In episode 272 of the So Dramatic! podcast it was revealed that Jesse “got an angry email from publicity” about his social media activity.

“[They were] telling him to take it down ASAP as he’s not meant to be posting on social media until the show is finished airing,” she explained.

Jesse isn’t the only groom trying his hand at TikTok.

Even Harrison Boon is wracking up the likes and well, here’s hoping we never have to see his face on our For You Page…
