Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Carolina Santos is the latest alum to call out Domenica Calarco for “bullying” amid rumours she’s dating 2023 hunk Duncan James.
ICYMI: The Brazilian bride (A.K.A one of 2022’s many villains) was spotted getting cosy to the current groom in January. No surprise, it sparked speculation that the pair are hooking up behind closed doors.
The rumour quickly grew legs and walked all the way over to Domenica, who slammed the pairing on a recent episode of her Sit With Us podcast.
“We’ve just seen this week that photos have come out of Duncan Donuts and Carolina,” she explained.
“My parents have got sheep next door, guys, and I swear to god, it’s like the dags on those sheep’s ass; that’s the men that they’ve got on this season.”
And yes, that’s Domenica comparing Carolina’s rumoured new bae to the sh*t that sticks to a sheep’s bum wool. Charming.
She was also caught out on Reddit, where she insinuated that Duncan wasn’t good-looking.
“Do people really think that he’s attractive?!” she questioned those in the forum.
Now, Carolina has responded to her TV rival’s comments while also telling So Dramatic! the truth behind her public rendezvous with Duncan.
What did Carolina Santos say about Domenica Calarco’s comments?
According to Carolina, her catchup with Duncan was nothing more than a friendly chat.
“Yes, Domenica, he’s a nice guy,” Carolina said. “When he sees a contestant from a previous season, having gone through it himself, he will stop introduce himself and have a friendly chat like most of us would.
“No one behaves like you did to Liam [Cooper].”
For those a bit slow on the uptake: the bisexual groom recently accused Domenica of shunning him at an event for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Carolina continued: “It’s called being a nice person, but hey what do you know about that?!”
She then clarified that her gripe stands with Domenica “going on the pod basically insinuating [she’s] not worthy of a man wanting to talk to [her]”.
It comes after Carolina commented on a clip of Domenica dragging her and Duncan on the podcast, calling her fellow alum out for “bullying behaviour yet again”.
“That’s rich coming from a woman claiming to be a feminist and putting another woman down for just having a conversation.”
