Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom Dan Hunjas has split from his wedding guest-turned-girlfriend Samantha Symes.
Controversy has followed the 42-year-old businessman ever since he was seen packing on the PDA with the nurse in January, just as his wedding went to air, spoiling the outcome of his short-lived albeit toxic marriage to Sandy Jawanda.
But the three-month-long romance between Samantha and Dan wasn’t meant to be thanks to a little help from episode 262 and episode 263 of the So Dramatic! Podcast detailing the father-of-one’s recent antics.
The podcast episodes included claims that Dan had four secret girlfriends during filming and also allegations he was dating Samantha and his ex Danni Suriano at the same time.
Dan denied allegations he was dating several women until he went on the MAFS, telling So Dramatic! the claims were “completely false.”
But now Samantha has spilled the tea on their breakup, telling So Dramatic! she ended things with Dan after listening to the pod.
“It was actually your podcast that made me break up with him I had no idea he was contacting Danni in January when we were together,” she said.
Dan wastes no time moving on from Samantha
Just hours after news of the split, Daily Mail reported Dan had moved on with his model ex, Chloe Patterson.
Yes, that’s right, the guy who allegedly had four women on the go reportedly now has a new girlfriend the day after he and Samantha parted ways. He moves quickly!
Chloe fuelled speculation the pair had rekindled their relationship after she posted an Instagram Story of herself with Dan holding a bouquet of flowers.
“When you change your name to ‘The Ocean’ so he buys you flowers,” she captioned the pic.
The caption was obviously a dig at Dan’s TV wife, Sandy, who doesn’t like the beach, while Dan’s love of the ocean was well-documented during his time on MAFS.
