Married at First Sight Australia 2023 groom Harrison Boon made sensational claims he intends to quit the experiment and leave his wife Bronte Schofield at the next Commitment Ceremony.

During the March 15 Dinner Party, the 32-year-old was berated, and rightly so, by his fellow MAFS co-stars after he showed up without his wife and pretended like it wasn’t a big deal.

“Where is your wife? Why are you here and eating dinner when you don’t have your wife [here]?” Melinda Willis asked him at the dinner table.

“Am I not allowed to hang out with my friends?” Harrison fired back.

“Am I seriously going to be attacked for Bronte’s choices?”

Later in the night, Harrison said: “there’s no chance I’m staying”.

“Have I told Bronte? No. But does she know the relationship is done? I think so. It’s pretty brutal,” he added.

For all accounts, it seemed like Bronte was on board after she broke down in tears and announced she was getting on a plane and heading back to Western Australia.

“I’m done. Yeah, I’m done,” she said.

“Everyone kicks off hard,” one contestant dished. “His angle is he wants to see Perth and has had some sort of epiphany.” Insert eye-roll emoji.

We can’t wait to see how master manipulator Harrison spins this one.

But, hey, any excuse the see that crumb of a human – i.e. Harrison – get what he deserves.

Married at First Sight’s Bronte was a no-show at the Dinner Party because she ‘wasn’t coping’

As revealed in episode 268 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the Perth-based TV wife refused to go because she “wasn’t coping and needed a break.”

“She was a no-show. She didn’t want to be around anyone,” a source close to Bronte explained.

“During this time she really started to struggle mentally. She was having breakdowns, panic attacks, and nightmares and was crying constantly.

“Harrison and producers had completely crushed her.”
