The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s resident root rat Felix Von Hofe and final pick Jessica Navin are no longer together after he reportedly ghosted her once filming wrapped.
The January 29 finale was an absolute clusterf*ck, leaving fans yelling at the screen after the basketballer ditched “perfect” Abigail Harley in favour of the 25-year-old, whose open relationship drama with IRL boyfriend Damien Kelly became the centre of the episode show.
However, it seems Felix’s “risk” didn’t pay off, despite Jessica dumping her life-coach bae to be with him wholly.
During the finale, Bachie alum Tara Pavlovic-Shepherdson commentated the episode on her Instagram Story and suggested Felix took the easy way out in picking Jessica.
“I feel like Felix didn’t want to choose anyone,” she said. “So he chose Jess because he can just leave because that was just a twisted situation.”
A fan then slid into Tara’s DMs, dishing what happened once the couple entered the real world.
“I’m from Townsville and a friend knows Jess and Damien,” they said in a message Tara shared on her Story.
“Apparently Felix ghosted her and she went running back to Damien straight away.”
Are we surprised? Not really.
Following the finale, the duo quietly confirmed to 10Play that they were dunzo.

According to Felix, long distance (he being from Melbourne and Jessica from Townsville) bogged down their relationship.
“I’ve been in a long-distance relationship in the past and it’s incredibly strenuous because if you feel strongly about someone, you want them to always be around you,” he said. “With us, we didn’t know when the show was going to air or what was going to happen.”
However, he admits he is “still on great terms” with Jessica.
“We’re still incredibly close and we’ve chatted throughout the process… we’re on great terms.”
Jessica echoed her former flame’s feelings about interstate romance, noting it was hard to “kick off a relationship”.
“As someone who really values communication and who loves a good D&M, I felt like Felix and I had very different perspectives on what that would look like, and we just kind of lacked that communication,” she said.
“But from the get-go, I knew he wasn’t going to be my life partner and he deserves someone who is completely all the way in and not half in.” Now, this is a TOTALLY different tune from the one she was singing in the finale…
The controversial contestant also confirmed that there are “no romantic feelings whatsoever towards Damien”. Ya-huh.
Jessica Navin publicly announces split from Felix Von Hofe on Instagram
Taking to her personal Instagram page on January 30, Jessica reiterated that she and Felix had broken up.
“Although a proposal, or an official relationship didn’t feel quite right for us leading up to finale, I was open to getting to know Felix in the real world,” she admitted.
“However, as it turns out, the element of long distance over several months, differing lifestyles and communication needs, meant that the romantic connection inevitably ran its course, meaning that our compatibility wasn’t quite there.”
Jessica confirmed that she and Felix “remain as friends”.
“I wish him nothing but the best for his future.”
News of their split comes after a source told So Dramatic! that Jessica had “moved from Townsville to Sydney and is living with Naomi [Johnston]“.
She was also spied with her “legs intertwined” with an unnamed man, probs having another conscious conversation.
Meanwhile, horny hound Felix was spotted at Melbourne haunt Bar Bambi in January, where he confessed “he’s single”.
He has reportedly since p*ssed off overseas, presumably so he isn’t haunted by that “kiss me like you’re single” line… Bon voyage!
