The Bachelors Australia 2023 has a “swinger” contestant – as well as the highly anticipated polyamorous and partner-swapping plot twists – and we’re super here for it.
In another Bachie first, one contestant confirmed that she has a “swinging partner” who she attends sex parties with.
Just to clear things up (because we were admittedly a little confused), swingers and polygamy are typically two different lifestyles, although they can intersect.
Very Good Mind defines swingers as those who keep their outside relationships to primarily sex-focused and often with other established couples, while polyamory creates space for multiple committed partners.
Swingers are more likely to maintain heterosexual relationships, even with alternative sexual partners, according to sex therapist Martha Kauppi.
As reported in episode 242 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an insider has revealed one of The Bachelors Australia contestants, known as CJ, is a swinger.
“CJ is a swinger. Not sure if she was open about it with Thomas [Malucelli] but she told the girls in the house [that] she had a swinging partner. They go to parties together,” our spy reported.
They added: “She spoke about it openly to everyone, she wasn’t trying to hide it at all.”
Sounds like the Bachie mansion was a lot of fun this year!
