Media personality Jessica Rowe has revealed that a major celebrity only signed onto a particular Australian reality TV show because their guaranteed win was stipulated in their contract.

Speaking on The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show, the titular podcast host explained that a (tragically unnamed) celeb knew they would win because it was a part of their contract.

“I was talking to a celebrity recently that had been on a reality TV show and even they knew things would be set up,” Jess said.

She explained that the famed “winner was decided even before the show began”.

According to her insider source, the celebrity refused to participate unless their reality TV contract confirmed the competition would be rigged for them to win. Big yikes!

Which celebrity rigged an Australian reality TV show to win?

The 52-year-old was careful not to specify which reality TV show the star appeared on. However, there are only so many Aussie reality shows with famous contestants in 2022. Let’s investigate!

Big Brother, The Challenge and The Masked Singer immediately pop into our minds as the most prominent (and possibly most easy to rig) reality TV shows with celebrity competitors.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice, Masterchef, Australian Survivor and SAS Australia could also be potential options.

However, these would either seemingly be harder to manipulate a win and just leave us generally questioning… Why would you bother?!

Besides, some of those shows see the celebs competing to win money for charity, so trying to cheat in your contract would be pretty f*cked up. Right?!

You also have to consider whether the producers would want a star to appear strongly enough to warrant rigging the competition. It’s just begging to become a major scandal!

We have our (completely unverified and mostly unwarranted) suspicions about The Masked Singer Australia

Jess admitted in the same podcast episode that she wasn’t allowed to go on The Masked Singer Australia. Coincidence? We think not!

It also doesn’t escape us that Jess didn’t specify whether it was an Australian-based celeb, either.

Of course, an international star like The Masked Singer Australia 2022 winner Melody Thornton could possibly need a little extra convincing to come Down Under.

Even fans on Twitter suspected the show was “rigged” when the former Pussycat Dolls member was unmasked as Mirrorball back in late August.

Nothing is confirmed, but we’re just sayin’!
