The Masked Singer Australia judge Chrissie Swan shocked fans when she stepped away from her top-rating Melbourne breakfast radio gig at Nova – and now we know why!
The beloved 48-year-old media personality is set to launch a self-titled national radio show with Nova in 2023.
The new gig comes two decades after Chrissie first won Australia’s hearts in 2003 during the third season of Big Brother Australia.
Fans can turn in to Nova for The Chrissie Swan Show every weekday evening starting in January 2023 from 2PM to 4PM. Now that’s a prime spot!
Chrissie said in a press statement: “I’ve achieved so much professionally and personally over the past seven years.
“I’m thrilled to take on this new opportunity to embrace a new audience right across the country.”

Chrissie only recently announced her departure from her long-running stint on breakfast radio in Melbourne alongside co-hosts Sam Pang and Jonathan ‘Browny’ Brown.
The news shocked listeners and media big-wigs alike, as the Chrissie, Sam & Browny show achieved impressive ratings throughout its seven-year run. Their last show will air in December.
But with Chrissie’s impressive TV and radio resume building faster than ever, it’s no surprise that Nova has singled her out as a leading talent.
Nova Adelaide hosts Ben Harvey, and Liam Stapleton is set to replace the trio in the prime-time Melbourne spot, according to the Herald Sun.
