Grab your family, your thinking caps and crack open some Google tabs because The Masked Singer Australia is back and with it, a whole host of new celebrity guesses to shout at the TV screen.
The fourth season is returning to Channel 10 with OG panellist Dave “Hughesy” Hughes. However, the rest of the guessing line-up has faced a shake-up with not one, not two, but THREE new individuals casting their predictions as to who is under the masks.
Joining the cast alongside Dave and host Osher Günsberg is Abbie Chatfield, Chrissie Swan and THE Sporty Spice herself, Melanie “Mel B” Brown.
Hopefully, the new guessing panel means more legit predictions and fewer outlandish guesses, but we’re not sure that’ll be the case so long as Hughesy is involved!
In short: expect the beloved media personality to suggest that Taylor Swift is on the Masked Singer stage for the fourth year running.
With masks varying from a bedazzled disco ball to a slinky blue tiger, the clues are an absolute shemozzle.

Sheldon Riley
Ever since the first trailer dropped, fans have been hard and fast in suggesting that Australia’s 2022 Eurovision competitor Sheldon Riley is on the show.
Discussing the likelihood of his involvement, one fan said “it’s pretty obvious” that the 23-year-old is under one of the masks.
“The flower on The Masked Singer that sings Never Enough is Sheldon Riley,” one fan penned online.
Referencing one commercial that featured the Snapdragon mask, they said that “his movements and mannerisms during the song are so obvious”.
Another wrote: “It’s Sheldon Riley. I can listen to his angelic voice and never tire of it.”
Sheldon definitely has the pipes for The Masked Singer, considering he’s appeared on several singing and talent shows.
This includes The X Factor, The Voice Australia (twice!) and American’s Got Talent.
Jason Donovan
Having recently returned to film the last-ever episode of Neighbours, it wouldn’t be too outlandish to suggest that Jason Donovan hopped over to another Ten mainstay to sing a few tunes on the famous stage.
As reported in the Herald Sun, the 54-year-old is rumoured to appear on The Masked Singer this year.
“He does fit one of the clues that have been teased by the show, that of a multiple Logie winner,” the column said.
During his career, Jason has won three of statuettes: Best New Talent (1987), Popular Actor (1988) and Popular Actor in a Miniseries/Telemovie (1990).
He is also quite musical, having recently begun a tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in the UK.
Katy Perry
Now, before you hedge your bets, hear us out.
There have been whispers suggesting that one performer has sold over 50 million records worldwide
With this clue and a prediction bundled up with a neat little bow, one So Dramatic! listener slid into the DMs to say that global superstar Katy Perry is tackling The Masked Singer Australia.
Why?
“The ad says the person has sold 50m records, she’s sold 48m. [sic]” they explained.
What’s more, is that Katy has been spotted in the country in recent weeks visiting her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, while he films Wizards! in Queensland.
It wouldn’t be too crazy to think Katy’s on the show, right?
We mean, she did appear on MasterChef Australia (another Ten show, might we add) in 2020.
Melody Thornton
Is this a case of “When I Grow Up I want to be on The Masked Singer Australia“?
The Daily Mail Australia recently claimed that former Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton is competing on the hit singing show.
An insider told the outlet that Mel Bas soon as she sang a lick of I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston.
Emma Bunton
Rumour has it that Mel B isn’t the only Spice Girl ready to spice up our lives on TMS.
Reports say that her fellow bandmate Emma Bunton will also compete for this year’s win.
TBH, we would LOVE to see this. Mel and Emma already duetted on another reality show, The Circle, this year, so what’s one more to add to the ranks?
