The Traitors Australia 2022 viewers seemed to have a very odd perception of what can be broadcast on a mainstream reality TV show as they lamented the “murders” not being dramatic enough during the October 16 premiere.

ICYMI – The Traitors hit the ground running as 24 contestants came together in a posh AF hotel to complete a series of challenges, hoping to earn a LOT of moola. However, there’s a catch (because, duh!).

A chosen few contestants — AKA “the Traitors”- met secretly to devise a plan to “murder” their fellow players, known as “the Faithful”.

The Traitors Australia Fans React To The First “Murder” During The Premiere Episode

After selecting the Traitors on the first night, host Rodger Corser called for the first “murder” to take place. The secret villains elected to eliminate 27-year-old vet nurse Millie.

But while the Traitors got dressed to the nines in fancy red velvet robes to commit the crime, there was actually very little televised fanfare over Millie kicking the metaphorical bucket.

While some fans loved the slow-burn murder-mystery vibes and cinematic visuals, other viewers had hoped the “murders” would be a little more OTT.

You guys know this is airing on Channel 10, not HBO, right?
