Axed Married at First Sight Australia 2022 groom Simon Blackburn has shared his tips on how to reproduce males after he revealed he’s expecting another son.
To refresh your memory: Simon was originally paired with Jessica Seracino in the ninth season of the marriage experiment; however, he was axed just days into filming after disturbing racist and misogynistic videos surfaced online.
Now, the father is adding another child to his brood, and the impending arrival of another son is reportedly all thanks to his very questionable method of breeding.
Taking to Instagram, the 30-something-year-old said it’s all in the “focus”.
“Shoot straight, execute, focus… and you’ll get a boy,” he told his followers. “Just like kicking a footy.
“Straight through the middle, you know what I mean? If you don’t focus, well, you’re not gonna get the result you’re after, lads.”
The advice comes after Simon and his partner, Kate Rutherford, took to social media to share the news they were expecting “Baby Blackburn” on April 25, 2023.
In a video from their gender reveal, the couple is seen popping a balloon reading “Girl or Boy”, which bursts with blue confetti.
On Simon’s TikTok page, he mused that “another athlete is on its way”.

How Long Have Simon Blackburn and Kate Rutherford Been Dating?
In February, Simon unveiled the news that he was off the market and dating Kate, a socialite from Melbourne.
In a since-deleted video on one of the groom’s many TikTok accounts (honestly, we can’t even keep up), Simon announced that he was “hanging up his boots” when it comes to being a bachelor.
“Just liked to say a massive thanks to everyone who’s participated in the journey,” he said. “I’ve decided to call time on the career at 300 [women].”
It’s imperative to note that this “career” is pretty much just him d*cking around and sleeping with women to up his “stats”. Gross.
“I thought it was the right time to hang up the boots, and we’ll see how everything plays out going forward,” he added.
The new relationship debut emerged just days after Simon claimed that TV wife Jessica was a “nightmare” in their brief time together.
“She completely lost it and should never have been on the show,” he said.
