The final episode of The Bridge Australia dropped on September 9, and contestants are fuming over the dodgy edit of their conversation during the last campfire.

As reported in episode 213 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one jaded contestant could not keep quiet about how different the final campfire was IRL.

According to our insider, the final cut aired on Paramount+ was “not a great representation of how it actually went down”.

They even claimed events that were edited into the final episode were not in chronological order, with a lot of the drama not providing any context to viewers.

“It was totally out of order. We all went around and did a pitch for ourselves,” the source dished, with production then forcing them to speak up and questioning if “anybody has anything else to say?”.

The unnamed contestant recalled Elliot Isles “chiming in” before Madison Wappett cut him off.

“[Madison] gave a speech about why everyone who was going to vote for Allira [Potter] should vote for Tony a.k.a ‘Savage‘,” they said.

But they reckon that Savage was never actually in the running to cross the bridge and collect the prize money.

“There was a split between Allira, Bardie, and Dean almost swung the vote to Allira on the revote,” they said, before adding: “They cut so much out of the finale.

“They are really reaching for dramatics. It was actually very anti-climatic in reality,” they concluded.

Well, we just watched y’all build a bridge, so we’re not exactly surprised they had to ramp up the drama!!
