Brooke Blurton‘s bestie and First Nations author Allira Potter is just one of 12 contestants competing on the new Paramount+ reality series, The Bridge Australia.

Based on a highly successful UK format, The Bridge follows competitors as they work together in the Tasmanian wilderness to craft a 330-metre-long bridge across a waterway.

The aim? Survive challenges, eliminations and build the best goddamn bridge in a bid to win $250,000 in prize money.

While no official cast list has been released for The Bridge Australia, we did spot a familiar face among the on-edge challengers in the very first promo.

Based on the teaser, it looks like the Wild & Witchy author is ready for the dra-mah, and TBH, who isn’t on reality TV?!

“I think things are about to get a little bit spicy,” the proud Yorta Yorta woman tells the camera. “Which I’m kinda here for.”

When she’s not competing on reality TV or hanging out with Brooke (who is currently taking part in another Paramount+ series, The Challenge Australia) the 31-year-old is busy working her butt off as a relatable AF social media influencer.

With content ranging from self-love practices to content that raises awareness for issues impacting the Indigenous community, it’s hard not to love Allira.

As such, we can’t wait to see her battle it out once The Bridge hits Paramount+ on Friday, August 19.

How Do You Win The Bridge Australia?

With only their bare hands and basic tools to build the bridge, the contestants will have to put their trust in a lot more than their carpentry skills over the 17 days of The Bridge‘s competition.

With elements drawn from Survivor and other intense social games, the competitors will need to keep an eye on their teammates while also entrusting them with the decision of a lifetime.

In a tense twist, only one challenger will be chosen to cross the bridge and they must decide whether to keep the cash prize for themself or share it among the group.

In the first trailer released by Paramount+, the decision appears to loom large over the contestants’ heads.

“You’re handing $250,000, are you really going to divvy it up?” one sceptical cast member questions. “Let’s be real.”

Quite right, aye?!
